Pros: nice look, shoots very consistantly
Cons: a little heavy for a barrel, expensive
This is a very nice barrel system. I have it on my upped ion and have used it on a few other guns and I would recommend it to anyone. It gives a very consistent shot, especially when combined with a nice regulator. Definetely beats alot of systems out there.
However it is expensive, so unless you can pick one up used or at a good price, or have plenty of cash, Id look for a non-insert barrel that is well rated.

this is the perfect kit for the beginner player or the seasoned vet.
the use of the incert kit makes it easy to bore out your paint every day but by using 3 pieces they often times introduce bad tolerances and poor alignment which neglects all gains made by the kit.

Pros: Bore sizes, value, hard case
Cons: barrel sucks after breaks, looks
Alright, I bought this barrel kit well over a year ago to use on my PE etha. Since then, I've used it on my Ego, and my sniper, all the bores rock for pump play! Anyway, this is like the only barrel kit that my local field sells, and for good reason. This is one of the oldest and best barrel kits around. It has tons of bores for the cost and a great hard case to keep everything in. This barrel is also nice and quite, lots of good porting. I also really like how simple and easy to wash this barrel is after a rough day of play. However, this barrel isn't super sexy like an Eigen barrel or Pathogen Meteor barrel. But I mean, it isn't exactly ugly either. Also, once you get a ball broken in this gun, good luck shooting straight. Even after swabbing this barrel is a nightmare to use. Either way, I feel like this will always be a great middle of the road barrel for anyone in paintball.

Smart Parts Freak Barrel Kit The freak kit has been one of my favorite pieces of equipment since I started paintballing. While it is not the lightest, it is by far the most accurate barrel I have used.
