Cons: feedneck Complete package
i really wanted to get into an LV1 but couldn't justify the money

started looking into these and gambled and boy has it paid off

love this thing to death

Pros
The Shot quality, dono if its the new gun feel but its just spot on
Its not overly loud, in fact no one really made mention of it.
It feels great in the hands. i along with everyone else have stated this.
The board gets a lot of gripes but i feel its perfect, its easier to use then my geo was imo.
For being so subtle on the looks department, it wasn't short of getting attention on the field which is great because i feel this gun is severely under marketed and underrated.
Trigger is very nice as well
ASA is super smooth to use, nothing fancy, nothing to go wrong here ethier

Cons
The feedneck is a good one no doubt but i liked the adjustable knob that planet puts on their guns. This one requires an allen if the bolt decides it wants to move, not a deal breaker by any means
It could of came with lube and a nicer set of allens and a proper paperback manual but apples and oranges

Overall, i can't be happier. Its missing the "complete" package you would get if you did have an PE product but a PE product is usually 2-3 maybe even 400 more dollars. I don't buy markers new. I've never bought a new marker. I would consider paying full price for it. Its that good to me

Pros: Solid performance, great value at 499
Cons: Loud,
Pulled this gun out of the box and started abusing it. Shot some mid range paint through it and it worked above expectations. Accurate and smooth. The oled is easy to see in the bright sun. Even though this gun has sat in a warehouse since 2013, all the orings are solid, and its lubed decently. I would still recommend cleaning and reloobing before any serious play, I just wanted to see it right out of the box. It is loud, but no worse than any other poppet.

Shot cheap paint through it and a few balls broke. Didnt shoot well at all after that but I i would blame the paint. Excited to really break it in.

All and all a great gun, Not worth $1050 origional price tag, but at $499 Its a steal. Would recommend as a primary for any mid level tourny player, deffinitly keeping as a back up.

The JT impulse is Honestly the best gun of 2013...Not only in price vs other high ends like the Ego or Dm blah blah...But its super smooth for a pop it due to its a balance valve and pretty quite as well (for a pop it). Definitely better than the Ego LV1. With its ez of maintenance and overall quality for the dollar...It wins

Took a chance on the Impulse as soon as the price dropped down to $600 and I am glad I did. This marker really is worth the $1000 it was originally listed at. I really believe if KEE/GoG had released it under Empire that this marker would have flown off the shelf but since ti was released under the JT name, alot of people automatically ruled it out. This marker sits towards the top of my list as far as the feel of it in my hands. It feels great in my hands, it feels balanced, and it is light! The LED screen is nice and bright and the board is easy to program/navigate. Comes in a okay case with a nice two piece barrel. The only really negative thing I can say about it is that it might be too loud for some people. The sound does not bother me at all and if you play speedball, the sound does not matter at all.

Great GREAT marker. Damn thing shoots ropes. This is JTs unsung hero. Damn shame how people dont give this marker enough credit. Resale value took a big hit just cause of the brand but this baby can cause some pain to the guy you have it aimed at. Recommend it all the way. Only missed opportunity I can see here is macro line-less would have been nice and having the HP regulator a different color then frame. Like mine

http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3...psixvpeont.jpg

regularly the regulator would have been silver

The Impulse is in my opinion the best gun for the money on the market today. You simply can't beat over 50% off of it's initial retail price.

It shot smooth for me right out of the box, just had to tune it a bit like any other marker. I just wish it came with a hard case for the gun like PE or Luxe.

I'd recommend this gun to anyone.
