This mask is comfortable and looks good. It covers your face very well. My only big complaint about this mask is it is very hard to remove the lenses to change them out or thoroughly clean them. It is near impossible. But if you have no intention of doing anything like that and want a great mask for the money, its the way to go.

JT Paintball Flex 8 mine was too big for my face, the bottom portion anyways. It would always hit up against my airtank, and kinda push my lense frame up so i couldnt see, so i never used it.

Pros: looks, custimization, small profile
Cons: heavy, lens removal,NO FLEX
I would like to start off by saying this is an OK mask for the price, however I feel that other masks have much more bang for their buck. In my opinion this is one of the top three looking masks out right now.Lens removal is a complete pain. I dont even take the lense out to clean it anymore, I just take a wet cloth and clean as much as I can. This mask is very heavy for the price paid, I tried on my friends profiler and it felt alot better. There is no flex to the bottom piece. I really dont know why they would call it a FLEX 8.The small profile is very good on this mask. I feel that i deserve every maskshot that I take.Of course people love the 260 lense frame for easy custimization. I personally wish I bought a profiler, or saved an extra 10$ for a proflex.Thank you

I bought these when they came out,I liked the looks of them and

Looks - well,ya either like'm or not I do
They come in a variety of colors and some camos if you like

Lens - Comes standard with a (Spectra) thermal lens which basically
is a thick outer lens with a thinner lens glued to the back of the
other lens to make an air pocket to reduce the ability to fog.

Though when that seal is broken it'll allow humidity,paint,h2o, ect..
in and eventually ruin the lens. I've personally have had little
problems in that regard but i've had friends who got shot
once in the goggle with a new lens and the seal broke
of course there could had been different factors as to why that
happened a few times.

As far as changing the lens it's difficult at first but read the
directions! I've seen people try and change these and you can
tell they did not bother and made far more work for themselves
and once you change them a couple of times it's quite simple.
But it's not a quick change system like others.

The goggle area is well padded and comfortable.

The lower half of the mask is all one piece and far more rigid
than the Proflex and Flex 7 it's a little more on par with the
Spectra. If your your looking for more protection this is the
way to go looking for more bounces not the way to go.

It's easy to breathe through due to it's nice venting, get shot
in the mouth area with your mouth open... you'll eat some paint

Basically it's durable,comfortable,well vented,protective
doesn't fog much as long as the seal is not broken
you'll get bounces... sometimes

Pros: looks like venom, replaceable lens, comfy
Cons: Big guys still fog
I bought this because I wanted a fog proof mask. I got the thermal lens, and the description said it would not fog because of superior venting. It definitely held the fog back longer than any other mask I used but the fog still proceeded to win after I worked up a sweat. I finally solved the problem with a vortex 2 fan and now I am truly fog free. The mask is very comfortable and has a good field of view. Replacement lenses come in many colors and are not crazy expensive.

I love the way it fits and feels. Now with the fan it never fogs. I would recommend the proflex 8 for anyone looking for a good mask for a good price.

Pros: hard bottom/ sleek design/ jt product
Cons: still not a quick change lense of todays masks
Well I have been using the JT Flex 8 off and on since 2007 and I have to say that the mask still works great. The ability to have so many parts be interchangeable and customizable is a great ability to have for those people who want their setup to all match or be "hip" (Neon green/pink..etc)

The hard bottom is a nice feature for people who have had problems with the proflex and eating paint when shot in the facemask. I myself have had too much fat lips caused from it. The flex8 solves that issue and looks great while doing it....IF you can get one definitely try one out

Cons: lens difficult to remove
I tried all the masks in my local store on before buying the Flex 8, about 12 masks in all from the cheapest to the most expensive. I loved the look of the dye I4 and the Grillz but the Flex 8 just felt at home on my head. The lenses are from the tried and true Spectra line so they function great and have excellent vision, only drawback is lens removal is not much fun.

Ultimately if this goggle/mask system fits you and feels comfortable there is nothing more to consider. the quality is on par with any other system sold at any price. if these feel comfortable to you then don't think they aren't as good as the $100 masks just because they are cheaper.

good strap
quality construction
thermal lenses
visor included
comfy eye foam

I love my Flex 8 mask system, can't wait to try the ne ProFlex Evoloution

JT Paintball Flex 8 Beats the flex 7 in all round comfort and is a more modern look. only thing i dislike is that it as a whole is not as easy to personalize as the flex7
