Pros: Doesn't need tuning, quiet, smooth, efficient
Cons: Eyes are iffy, needs 4c eyes when u buy it
The Insight has been the very first brand new gun I've had in a good minute because I'm always trading around and trying new guns. That being said, I have shot just about every gun there is out right now in the high end sector.

This gun just blows me away. The body is sharp and expertly milled down giving the gun both amazing style and just a ridiculously light weight. 1 lb 11oz?! I mean what beats that? And the ergonomics of a g6r..ahhh it's just lovely.

The shot on this gun is also worth talking about. I would have to describe it as a cross between a DM and a g6r in that it doesn't feel very much like it's shooting at 300fps and more like it's just flicking the balls out there but it just does it so much more elegantly than that. The balls don't so much float out there but they sort of just zip out there one behind the other.

The engine and the single Hpr reg are both really simple to maintain and mostly foolproof. The only hiccup I have yet to experience with this gun is the eyes not wanting to read paint.

Sometimes it would read paint just fine and other times it would need a forced shot to get a stream going, not something you want in snake corner..but with a quick look through the advice of tim2thousand4 and his insight troubleshooting thread I was right back out there with a flawless shooting gun. It's like what dye wished the NT could be but about 5x prettier and lighter.

Overall this gun has been great so far! Shoots smooth like a DM with enough feedback to let u know you're shooting people. Plus 13 pods off a 68/45 without breaking it in even? Yea I'm keeping this gun! Go get one!

Price paid: $1,150.00
Pros: Light, Macroless
Cons: Factory only orings, lp only, trigger bounce
I purchased an insight and received it from the factory with a solenoid leak. I ended up having to send it back because the orings on the manifold are factory only. I thought this was kind of ridiculous on a BRAND NEW gun. Bob took care of me and I received it shooting good. The marker shoots well and cycles very fast (the fastest of any marker I believe). It is also extremely light and the board that comes with it is top notch. It's nice how compares to other markers made by Bob, the insight DOES NOT require Dow 55.

Now for the cons. I don't like how the marker uses factory only o-rings on certain parts. I also know that acquiring a low pressure is a hassle for some people who don't have a ninja pro reg. Also, Bob Long markers seem pretty prone to trigger bounce and it's an annoying fix because the trigger isn't the easiest to take out.

Pros: light, no macro, fast
Cons: a bit snappy of a shot
shot one for a couple days.

Pros:
shoots as straight as an arrow
efficient for a spool
extremely light
looks amazing
easy on paint
OLED board is sweet to have stock
Bob has his S*** down!!

Cons:
a bit snappy of a shot, even after they are broken in well
odd orings, and lots of them. could be a headache if things were to wear too much.

Overall I think it is one of your best bang for buck guns right now, especially with the prices I've been seeing them go for right before WC 13'

Pros: Light, fast
Cons: Trigger spring
Since I've purchased my Insight I've had nothing but problems.

Cons: First, I was getting MAD trigger bounce. Had to take out the trigger spring and stretch it. Problem fixed.

Second, when I got it it never had the newest board flash. Can you say chop paint much? Problem fixed.

Now that I have all these things fixed it works flawlessly, but I do have a sour taste in my mouth about it a little still.

Pros: Looks amazing, very light, easy to maintain, very fast, efficient.

Pros: Looks good, efficient
Cons: VERY PROBLEMATIC
I pruchased and Insight when they were first released, and four others guys on my teams also had them. I had problems with mine from day one with horrible bolt stick and pressure spikes. I sent it to Bob Long and when it came back it worked for MAYBE 3 games. Everyone on my team had problems with theirs. We have all sense gotten rid of the insights.

I haven't seen anyone locally buy on recently, so I am unsure if Bob has gotten the kinks out of this marker, but after talking to him, it seemed as if he was aware of the potential problems the Insight was going to have when they were released, so the question thats raised is why release a $1000 + dollar marker with known potential problems ??

On a side note, i stand by the G6R.

Cons: I have yet to shoot it and it is pissing me off
Alright not trying to bash but I have sent my gun off already once because it does not shoot. It won't register a ball and the board is going crazy says I have 2c eyes one min then it goes to 4c eyes. I'm am really getting pissed off to the point when I want my money back but I really wanna use this gun. Also i sent it off called when it got there talked to Zachary he said it was shooting perfect ok. So I get it and it doesn't shoot at all. Now idk wht to do or say I've always heard good things about bob longs but this is just dropping my good things down. So either I send it off and y'all bob long fix it for real make sure it shoot an functions or hate to say I want my money back.

Not a reliable gun to have, has constant problems, isn't as efficient as people say and will spend more time broken in your gear bag than on the field. Worst gun I have owned by far, other than the fact that it shoots smooth when its working the gun is horrible.

this is a great spool for the price and I do like how fast i can rip this gun. however i do have a vcom and i was a little disappointed with the shot. way to much vibration, not quiet, and not that smooth. i haven't got the soft shot bolt for it yet, but i will give it a try. i just don't like the way this gun was designed compared to its bigger brother the vcom. if you want a good spool, get a cheap 400 - 500 vic and put a spool in it. you just can't fine tune an insight, but with the vcom you can. save the money and buy the vcom.
