Pros: Best paint i've ever shot.
Cons: Price.
The one time i used Dye CG, was last time i played back home. Only bought a bag of it (which is why it was only $25), and played in April '13 at Big Game Day in Davis PB. Shot with a VSC Phantom & Gog Enmey.

Every ball was identical to the rest, and all round. Seams were a bit inset to retain the roundness, which is brilliant. Shiny, smooth shells, bright yellow fill, but not pasty like Evil.

Stuff shot straight, never broke a ball in my guns/barrels, but they broke on target every time (even if i was missing, it was breaking on whatever they hit, lol).

I haven't used every paint ever, and never will, but of what i've used in 10 yrs, Dye CG was fantastic. So sad to hear Dye killed it, although all the fields nearby are FPO and doubt they'd ever carry it.

I've still got 4 balls left, nicely housed in a 10rd tube, probably forever.

Its such a shame that DYE have stopped producing CG paint.

I shot these the other day and they are absolutely amazing. I wouldn't shoot these for anything except tournaments though because they are so expensive but damn are they good. I'm right handed and if I threw one of these left handed at a wooden spool nearby it would break. One of the biggest things about this paint though is that it is near damn impossible to see, flying at you. The dark shell is really hard to see especially flying at you. The packaging is a little excessive but it just adds to the value I guess. The bags are really a plus though.

This is the best paint I have shot in years. Flies true and breaks on everything. The only downside is one of it's qualities. If you dive wrong with half a hopper you stand a chance of breaking paint in your loader. Not a fault of the paint though. I recommend this paint to anyone looking for the best.

Since my son and I started shooting pump, we have been on a quest for the best paint. We only go through a bag or less each, per day so cost is not a consideration.

Since we only shoot one ball at a time what is important is ball-on-ball accurate, consistent breakage, also a very visible and thick fill. This DYE does well in all these categories. Additionally no leakage or sweating, unlike Marbs, Evil, Premium or anything else from RPS.

I also like the stand-up bags, no need for a caddy anymore and reseal nicely.

This DYE paint has become the most used Tournament paint at my field. Purchase a box and you will not regret it.

I have shot a few cases of this through my marker and have had no issues with this paint. It has all been consistent, straight, and break for break every time it made contact.
I played on days when it was mid 90s to low 100s and the balls did require me to use my .691 bore but still were brittle enough and no bounces.
My only thing is the price, but you get what you pay for and worth the price IMHO.

Pros: Shoots straight as a arrow.
Cons: Drop test, 10.. 50% broke or cracked.
The paint shoots straight. Pricey... did a drop test on 10 balls. Half of them broke or cracked when they hit the floor. 4 foot drop. Not as good on the brittle as i thought but does shot very accurately. Still better then the GI paint that we use normally.. The GI broke only 3 out of 10 on the drop test. Plain shell.. could of put a graphic or somthing on there for the price. Still some of the best paint out there.

Pros: Sleek look, Bright fill. Shot great
Cons: Didnt break all the time. Shell needs work
We shot the Dye CG paint over at the WCPPL.

The paint was sized just right. About a 685 bore. None of our guys had any issues with balls breaking in the barrel.

Paint shot really well. Very accurate and spot on.

Shell needs a bit of work. Got some crucial shots but they bounced some of the time. Drop tests show it does bounce more than other tournament grade paint.

Fill was bright. Marked very well.

TBH the price of 69.99 regular retail price is insane!. We payed a bit more than the standard Fyre available. Still at $50 a case it did not feel worth it some of the time. If dye is going to charge that much for paint it better be DAMN good. Ultra evil equivalent in other words. In that aspect it came up short.

I hope dye does some improvement on the shell so its a bit more reliable in a tournament setting. I think they will though. Dye has made great products for a long time. The paint still performed better at the event than the alternative.
