Another addition to the already well tested cyborg design with improvements over the previous years' releases. 5/8" shorter in height, 1/4" shorter in length, and 2.5 ounces lighter over the 06 release. A great addition to the MacDev's line.

I had heard good things about MacDev so when the opportunity arose to trade my DM6 for a Borg I figured I'd go for it. I liked the gun but there were certain aspects that could be improved.
Speed:
As with any of the newer guns, the cyborg can easily cycle faster than you can shoot. I did however find it harder to walk the trigger than most. (125 customs makes a very good replacement which fixed that problem)
Feel:
The gun shoots amazingly smoothly, and it is pretty light, but I was never really a fan of the feel of the gun. It had a blocky feel, especially in the grip frame. I absloutely hate the indent under the trigger guard. It isn't big enough to fit a finger, just big enough to make the gun feel awkward.
Board:
The board is just about perfect. It's easy to program and figure out.
Maintainability:
Probably the best feature of the gun. Super easy to take apart and clean.

I bought one of these brand new, and as soon as I shot it for the first time I knew I had to change the trigger. Since I was an engineer and had access to CAD/ machines I milled a custom scythe type trigger. After that this gun was pure money... I later added a NOX flash and I cannot possibly say enough good about this gun. It is everything that an ego should be and was the one gun I've regretted trading since the day it left my hands.

MacDev 07 Cyborghad one and man did it shoot great, was very fast, as far as looks never really like it.
Wonderfully made marker. Fast as hell (30 bps), accurate, and consistent. Great gun even if its 5 years old

overall, its smoother than guns like geos, luxes, egos, timmys
stock barrel is great
its fast
really low operating pressure
sounds like the gun is shooting 150fps but its really shooting 300

MacDev 07 Cyborgused the 07 for awhile before the droid came out. gun performs beyond what a poppit should be performing at. its not the prettiest gun to look at, but it out shoots all those "sick gats"

This gun shoots ropes, and it never breaks a ball. I have 10 cases through mine and it has never chopped.
Great gun, will keep up with the new high end guns, would recommend it to anyone.
