Another addition to the already well tested cyborg design with improvements over the previous years' releases. 5/8" shorter in height, 1/4" shorter in length, and 2.5 ounces lighter over the 06 release. A great addition to the MacDev's line.

I love Cyborgs, loved them since I had my 06 back in April. These things gives you everything you want in a gun. Looks may be a little plain but it shoots... Performance before anything, and that's what MacDev had it mind and I like that. Shoots good always, straight, and quiet. MacDev has great customer service, good people.
These markers are well worth the money. No regrets!

Pros: Spool valve smooth and quiet, good on air , fast
Cons: trigger kinda is sloppy
i have had 2 of these bad boys and they both are one of the best guys i have ever owned.

these are like mini one tubed vikings. they are amazing on air. they never break down, they are EXTREMELY fast. The red valve with the derlin poppet is by far my favorite part of the gun

you dont get the LOUD pop or snap sound almost every hammer/valve gun out there, the gun is one of the quietest guns i have ever owned. I would also like to add that this gun has NO KICK what so ever. even with the stock hammer. there is a lighter hammer out for borgs but i dont recommend getting it. stock is always best.

the only bad that i can pick out from this gun is the trigger set up. theres allot of side play with these trigger set up (stock) they have two barrings on the side but really doesn't nothing to prevent side play. also stock trigger spring is very annoying and i think makes the trigger stick and have a slower return then without it. to fix this all you do is take out the trigger spring and just the microswitch is returning the trigger and imo does a good job but if you like a little firmer return or trigger feel i would recommend getting a upgraded trigger

you can find these guns for mad cheap now being that the droid is out. i HIGHLY recommend buying this gun. This is IMO the second best gun i have ever owned (viking is first best) and i have been playing for 6 years and have been though over 10 different guns.

Cons: trigger
Appearance: I am a big fan of the Cyborg's looks. Overall, the profile is small, but not tiny or thin looking. Plus, it looks different from other markers that most people will have at the field. I get a lot of questions and compliments on it.

Performance: There are many videos and articles about Cyborgs shooting 30+ bps; so speed is not an issue. The Gladiator reg is one of the finest made and always consistent. They are efficient; I can usually shoot 10 pods and still have between 600 and 1000 psi left from my 68/4500. The stock trigger is decent, but not great; but that is subject to personal taste. It is easy to walk and highly adjustable. Aftermarket triggers are available in various shapes that, in my opinion, make it perfrom even better.

Reliability: These are high-end guns and the build quality from MacDev is excellent. I have had no issues that proper lubrication didn't fix. Speaking of which, these markers are a breeze to take apart and lube.

Value: Cyborgs are worth their price when new, but right now they can be had for extremely low prices. They can be had for less than most 07 high-ends (egos or DMs) and in most cases will out perform them.

Cons: a little heavier than most markers, but not by muc
Having owned my fair share of guns over the past few years, nothing has been able to come close to my Borg in performance. It is ridiculously efficient, getting near a case on a 68/45 tank. It has absolutely no kick whatsoever, and with the no kick comes it's smoothness. It is also a silent killer on the field..much quieter than most all other poppet valve guns. If you're planning on getting a new gun, I say get a Cyborg!

I bought my first Cyborg just a few weeks ago and was very excited when I received it. The gun was everything it claimed to be and more. On the performance level it was everything I had hoped for and more. The only downside was the size and ergonomics of the marker. The frame was fairly wide, the regulator was at least an inch from the trigger gaurd, and the marker was very tall. If they could pack all of this performance into a body the same exact size as an EGO7, I would never shoot another marker. The size and feel of the marker were just not very friendly.

Cons: Wide grip frame.
I got this marker in a trade a while ago, and I'm glad I did. It had a small leak coming from the solenoid, but it took two minutes to fix, and after that I did not have any issues. It ripped insanely fast in straight semi (especially with the PBK trigger). The kick was almost invisible. And it's a Cyborg, of course it was efficient. I also comes with the Matchstick barrel, which is one of the best stock barrels out there IMO.

The grip frame was a bit wide for my taste, but a pair of Stinger grips ($35) would easily fix that.

Recommended to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

Cons: A little on the tall side, Feedneck
I have used this from a friend of mine and let me just say...wow. ABSOLUTE BEST MARKER I HAVE EVER SHOT! Consistancy is great along with efficiancy (2100 shots per 68/45) It shoots majorly fast and accurate, it's light and easy to manuver...its not that expensive anymore either...a MUST buy for any hardcore baller.
5 out of 5 stars!

EDIT:

Well, now that I own one, I can actually review it from owning it about 2 months.

Appearance:
Well, This gun looked great the Moment I picked it up. Very sexy milling to the body and frame. A good step up from the 06 I owned previous. Very Clean looking marker.
5*'s

Performance:
I noticed while Using this gun, after cleaning, lubing and tuning, that it can be very quiet and smooth. I experiance Little to no kick at all and felt so great shooting in my hands. The gun is rather light, so It was easy to play with. Stock parts are better than most aftermarket parts on this baby (besides the board, which was also above par anyway). The only con I had was the feedneck. It's a clamping feedneck, but can only be tightened with allen keys, But still no big deal.
5*'s

Reliability:
Well, If you take care of this marker like all others, it will not complain and not work. If you clean and lube this baby after every game, which is a simple task anyways, It will never every go down. I have never had any problems with it AT ALL! Plus, it will get great consistency and efficiency (1900-2100 shots per 68/45 +1/-1)
5*'s

Value:
In my honest opinion, This was the best marker to be released in '07. The price was listed below that of the DM7 and EGO7 and out performed both from what I have shot. Now I picked it up at a fair price of $425 with a NOX Board already installed and I get many, MANY Compliments on it.
5*'s

Cons:
Although I have said many great things about this gun, there is, however, two things I disliked. It is more tall than an ego7 or DM7 would be. It weighs slightly more, but it is not noticeable. Another thing is the stock feedneck. It is nice and a clamping feedneck, but not with a locking/loosening arm like on a DM or a q-lock. Not too big of a deal, just carry around some allen keys.
-.5*'s

Overall:
This gun In my opinion was the greatest gun to be released in 07 and can STILL keep up with the best. I would shoot this gun over any Ego7-9 or DM7-9, and thats why I own it.
5*'s total

the tuning abilty of the marker is great too. it can be tuned for minimal recoil, or tuned to have some recoil. it is also the most efficient marker i have used.
