Pros: excellent gun all around
Cons: none!
So I just got my DAM in and took it out test shooting. I used empire premium paint and empire marballizer paint both shot excellent out of the gun and mags no jams or chopped paint. Before taking it out i did strip it down due to excessive grease on the bolt, it was so bad i had to push out the bolt from the inside to get it unstuck. After i cleaned it all up i put a light coat of dye lube on it in which it performed remarkably well. I didnt change any setting on the gun due to allowing it break in first, and after shooting it i really dont think i am goin to change anything unless i use it during tournement play. But for woodsball it needs nothing. My setup includes the the DAM, Dye Rotor, Ninja 68/4500, Remote hose with quick disconnect, and Izon sight.

JOB WELL DONE DYE!!

Pros: Beautiful gun, love first strike full auto
Cons: Battery pack vulnerable
I did not buy this gun yet, although my friend had just bought one. He got his brand new and during the winter. The firs time he goes to use it he can't get the feed neck port open and he strips the screws. Then he gets the gun tech to get it off somehow. It appeared that dye had put a tiny bit of thread lock on it, but I'm sure the problem was him trying to get it off in 16 degree below freezing temperature. Then he finds out he had been putting the battery in to where it was pressing up against the wires and he crimped the wires, and the gun won't stay on for more than 5 seconds. Now he is sending it in to dye. Good luck I hope you are all careful taking off your hooper feed neck ports in the cold, and be careful with your battery pack. I will soon be purchasing my Dye DAM in Dye Cam. I can't wait.

Dye Precision Dye Assault Matrix (DAM) Shot my neighbor's tits. When I tried explaining to her that the Dye representative had told me "it shoots tits like nothing else," she didn't seem amused.

This is the perfect gun for a woodsball enthusiast. Great gun and reliable. My dye rep brought one out to the field and let me demo it (i play speedball) and i couldn't put it down. we went outside in the middle of winter and it was ball on ball. the simplicity of switch from normal paint to first strikes is just unmatched by other other woodsball gun on the market.

Pros: Looks cool, shoots first strike
Cons: Expensive, breaks a lot of paint
I originally thought this was the end all be all of scenario markers. After I used it in a few scenario games I realized while it is better on some respects it also has some downfalls. First is that the barrel is very tight on first strikes, and you can't bore any smaller without slowing the the first strikes too much. In my marker if I used a 685. It squeezed the fs so much that I could not get the fps to 285 fps, when i tried to turn the gun up more the reg leaked. The marker seems to not shoot brittle paint well. It would brea a lot of paint it seemed. And when it did I would wait 5-10 fs rounds before hitting a player. This made the gun expensive to shoot and I had to waste an entire half a mag to get one extra player. Not worth the extra cost IMO. Gun did not feed paint through the mag very well. All my problems may have been due to 30 degree weather. But that is the temp I play at for 6 months of the year(7months this year)

Dye Precision Dye Assault Matrix (DAM) the gun is very heavy but that helps it reducing the recoil, shoots shot on shot shot at the same place! one of the most precise markers i've ever shot

Dye Precision Dye Assault Matrix (DAM) One of the best shooting guns I've owned, but is also the most inefficient. You can expect to get between 830-860 rounds out of a 68/4500. It's not great for scenario games...well, for me at least. I...

Pros: Smooth, accurate shots, Shoots First Strike Rounds
Cons: Not air efficient. Reg leaks if the fps too high
One of the best shooting guns I've owned, but is also the most inefficient. You can expect to get between 830-860 rounds out of a 68/4500. It's not great for scenario games...well, for me at least. I tend to get trigger happy and in no time at all, I'm out of air.

At the chrono, the shot deviation was about +-3 fps, which was fantastic.

Shoots first strike rounds like a champ, better than any marker on the market thanks to the .688 ultralite barrel. I LUV SHOOTING FIRST STRIKE ROUND WITH THE DAM!

Issues:

On cold days, it will shoot low and if you turn your velocity up too much, the reg will leak. Dye recommends you either turn your velocity back down until the air leak stops or you turn your dwell up to 22 if your velocity is way too low when the air leak stops. I will also recommend that you run your tank output pressure down to 550 psi. A representative from Ninja who also owns a DAM said his marker began to leak air after he put his standard 850 psi tank on. He then changed to a 550 psi tank and the leak stopped. I had the same issue that day and switched to my LP tank and worked fine the rest of the day.
