DP Engineering continues to strive for the exceptional design, combined with the standards of today's players. DP's years of experience in craftsmanship & intricate design brings forth a high quality marker, loaded with features such as the Stinger Frame, Wave Trigger, Subsonic Bolt Engine, & Riptide Regulator. DP is proud to proclaim the intricacy in design, simplified by Engineering, the all new G5. Staying ahead of the curve. Low-Pressure Stinger Frame The G5's Unibody Frame, Milled from high-grade Aluminum, houses the Inline reinforced Stinger Frame Low-Pressure system. high speed precision milling is used through the Stinger Frame to contain the Low-Pressure Inline system. The Stinger Frame includes a heavy-duty bracing structure for increased durability and is complimented with a high-performing lightweight design. Cutting edge technology, stamped with ingenuity. Riptide Regulator The Engineer's of DP invigorates the Riptide Regulator. A superior design, the Riptide Regulator's operation simulates the art of nature by directing the flow of pressure & combining as one controlled force. The High Pressure Regulator receives direct pressure from the Stinger Frame low-pressure system, allowing a fluid path with an extremely durable design. The components of the Riptide Regulator are very light, compact, & comprised of only a 7 stationary O-ring build. Subsonic Bolt Engine The G5's Subsonic Bolt Engine high performance is combined with a high efficiency. A lower pressure operation achieves accurate & high-powered performance - Achieved by DP's Standard. The Ported vents on the G5 Bolt generates fluid motion during bolt-actuation, while creating a subsonic flow from the pressure chamber and through the vented ports to cushion paint while delivering a powerful trajectory. DP's Patent Dump-Valve Design has come a long way and continues prestigious quality with groundbreaking performance. Innovative DP Style Clamping Feedneck DP Engineers continue to reinvent & improve technologies, such as our patent Clamping Feedneck & is now loaded with new features! Cushioned locking-mechanism helps decrease Lever-Wear while providing a firm hold. The improved Milled lock-nut design, ensuring a secure loader fit from the Snap to Finish. Wave Trigger The G5's Innovative Wave Trigger is fully milled & constructed with high-precise dual bearings & critical pivoting motion to replicate fluid-motion with extreme comfort. The breakaway magnet is assisted with a compression spring, fit for high performance. The Wave Trigger allows fine tuning for increased trigger sensitivity on a 3-Axis adjustment plane. This adjustable plane also grants a, "Zero" side play for extreme comfort & high performance.

The DP-G5. Man, what a marker. Being that this is the first foray into the macroless world for DP, I'd say this is a pretty attractive paintball opportunity. I Received my G5 hot off the press. It was glorious, all Black and shiny. Light as air.

Cut to the chase.

I filled my 68/4500 Valken widow Tank with Ninja ULReg to 3.5k. Our Local field only allows this much so that is what My review is based off. I set my Reg screw to 270 BPS. I filled my Rotor V3 with RPS Premium, to the top I might add. I had 3 other 140 pods with me and I hit the field. I kept playing until I ran out of air, intermittently filling pods and hopper.

I ended up using 1x 200 round Hoppers and 8 pods on a 3.5k Fill.

200 x 2 + 8 x 140 = 1320 rounds of paint. (PEMDAS) that is almost a case before I needed to fill the tank again.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it! For a spool this is a really efficient gun. moving the BPS up to 285 reduced the number to around ~1100. I think DP has a winner here. again light as air.

Pros: Everything is nice
Cons: Had a very small bolt stick, o-ring in asa broke
I had my first tournament with this gun last weekend and i have to admit i did very well with this gun. Shot Ropes, very consistent, air efficiency was great, and over all a great gun. I highly recommend this gun. Only problem i had was the bolt was sticking ever so slightly just needed a little lube and was all fixed. Also an o-ring in the asa broke and i could not play in the last game because of it. Not sure why this happened but oh well. Overall great gun

Pros: Shoot great, looks awesome
Cons: Regulator issue, leakage, defected part
I have had my gun for a month and half and I have taken it to the store 2x already. My mind I play speedball and at times woods. In the month and half I have had the gun I have played with it 4-5x.

First time I took it to the store was the week after I bought it. The reason why there was a defected part in the regulator. The store I purchased it informed that there is a safety in the gun when there is to much air and they showed me how to fix it and worked. The next week I went out it worked ok but still had issues and for some reason there was low pressure. Took the marker to the store again and they informed they would try to fix it or send it to the factory to get it repaired and told me to call later for an update. Wednesday came I called and they sent it to the factory and the reason why is because there was a defected part in the regulator. Friday came I called the marker had returned. Went out with worked perfect till I heard a leak n the barrel area. Took it to the store and they fixed it. No other issues yet

Besides those issues the gun is fine and love it but having a hard time enjoying with all the issues. If one more issue I may just call it a defect and get a new one.

This gun is just great. After researching for a good reliable gun at this price range I ended up buying the G5 and I am very happy with it. Very efficient very fast easy to program the board. This gun comes second in these price range with the Etha being on the first place. The only thing about this gun that seems to be an issue to some people (not to me) is that it does have kick. Very little but then again is not a luxe or a vanquish so come on guys. Overall great gun for a division 5 or beginner speedball tournament. the best. The trigger feels so awesome it is a lot better than the mini.

One of the best guns you can buy on the market at the moment I've had mine for a little over a year and it still works perfectly fine. Very little maintenance is needed for it. The disassembly is very easy. I alos have submerged it under a whole puddle. Got right up took 10-20 shots and then working perfectly fine. I would recommend for everyone who wants a $500-$750 this can replace that cost.
