Pros: All around great gun for price.
Cons: pump is tedious; internal velocity adjuster
The Kingman Spyder Hammer 7 was my first brand new gun and I am so happy with it! It is a very reliable gun and and is very simple mechanics-wise. The Hammer 7 is first strike ready with magazines and can be fed through a magazine cartridge or the traditional hopper. With a better cheap barrel this gun is great, I have had many "cross map" kills and it is just a fun gun to play with. The markers appearance is also very good: a cool, military shotgun with a gun-rail and the availability for butt stocks and muzzle breaks. Definitely an all around great gun especially for the very cheap, very affordable price of $100. I love using this gun.
I have noticed that the marker will sometimes load two paintballs at once when using magazines though. I use hoppers now.

Pros: Great FS starter gun
Cons: Poor performance
For most people getting this gun you won't be disappointed. This is a great gun for shooting first strike rounds. The Dual Loading System is awesome and lets you play several different ways. This is the perfect beginners sniper.

Here are the things I don't like about the gun:
- back bottle
- loud/farty due to poor nelson valve design (see phantom)
- Dual Loading System shreds detents if not careful
- anti-rollout feature makes paint bore matching barrels useless, this is because it creates a space between the ball and the barrel. When you fire the gun the ball will clip the bottom of the barrel as it tries to get out and cracks, aka barrel break. This will happen a bunch unless you use a large bore barrel.
- Spyder threading, this is because almost every gun I own is autococker threaded, even my Ion.
- You can't change from magazine to hopper on the fly, unless you carry a allen with you

Don't let this list change your mind about this gun! I imagine that someone will come out with upgrades to fix these issues.

Pros: first strike
Cons: bottomline, pump handle
Super cool marker to buy. cheap, magazine fed, and first strike capable.

Pro's- The biggest one is first strike capability. The tac rail on top makes it super easy to put whatever optics or whatnot you want on it as well. This style of pump is a proven design, and all the parts seem to be built with durability in mind.

Con's- A couple of quirks I did find when I purchased my hammer 7. When I first aired it up the valve had a small leak. It turns out the brass seal in the valve had a small nick in it. It was a simple enough fix to smooth out, but still not fun to do from the factory. It also seems the bottomline mount holes are situated too far down the grip frame and does not allow for a basic bottomline set-up on the grip frame. My final gripe is about the pump handle. It functions well and is durable, but the absence of a rail on it is slightly disappointing.

Overall this is a solid pick-up for 130 bucks. It has a couple of quirks, but for the price it's worth it to have a magazine fed first strike shooter.

Kingman Group Hammer 7 A great pump by Spyder. The ability to use magazine and loader is amazing. Also, first strike ready. The magazines sometimes dont go in smoothly though.

Cons: Shifting from hopper to first strike
I havent played pump since 1988 so this was my first trip down memory lane. I love nelson design their simple to repair. The first time I chronoed the gun it would not go above 220. I tightened up the cup seal and it works fine now. I really like first strike. I would recommend this marker.

Cons: could always be better..
I got the hammer for a few reasons but mainly to get back into magfed and im always looking for a way challenge myself more, the low cost is a bonus i got it with a tank and stock with one mag then went and bought two extra mags only holding 9 paintballs a piece is less than others but more of a challenge i say... anyway she shoots good, air efficient and best of all alot of really great mods you can still do whether its bolt, lever action or even a more sharper looking pump

Pros: price
Cons: hopper
Great shotgun looking marker. You must be ready to adapt to a more aggressive pump play. Its is not a light pump hand and must be pumped stronger. PRO TIP: make sure to pump all the way when using this marker, or it will chop like crazy. Slow down and fully pump and no chop will happen. This is perfect to build a sniper out of this marker.

PROS:
first strike ready (includes 9rd mag)
shotgun look
hopper ready
air out the back at an angle

CONS:
very difficult feed neck install ( awkward position)
no offset feed neck ( block all sights)

Pros: FS,mag or hopper fed,great company support,easily
Cons: backbottle
I bought mine new on a "demo"sale,I always wanted to try pump and the price was right
Have played about 4 games with it,mag and hopper fed,its was very consitant out of the box, came with some FS rounds also a big+
Didnt like the backbottle so I set it up with a CP on/off,helped a ton with sighting with a red dot
FS rounds are awesome, they really live up to the hype, take some getting used to as they dont arc like normal paintballs, est range is 200ft
Ive had a few issues with shooting FS rounds out of the mag, some were old rounds donated to me,the rounds to have some defects,.new rounds i got with the gun were unaffected
most bang for the buck paintball equiptment Ive owned since I bought my JT Spectra gogs new in 95(I still use it)
customer support on forums has been unmatched by any other large manufacturer, one of the main reasons I decided to buy it,Kingman is definately on an upswing
Heres my review, ill continue updating it as i use it
