Pros: Fun, shoot good
Cons: Cleaning, teardown tricky
Finally got to use my T8.1 on the field and wanted to give it a review. Picked it up used for $100 and picked up two mags and a remove adaptor for one mag. Used it as my primary marker.

I've heard people complain about the feel of the marker, especially the wide grip. After using it, I had no problems. It stock form I found it has good balance and weight and found the grip very comfortable. If you have small hands you may find it uncomfortable to hold, but at 5'7 I'm likely average.

Overall Impressions: Great shooting marker, changes how you play the game (8 shots per mag), comfortable to play with and lots of fun. Cleaning breach breaks involves disassembly, which can be tricky, but used two pieces of tape to hold in trigger parts, and had no problems.

Review: Use my T8.1 for about 5 matches. I used a remote adaptor in one mag to chromo/tech and switched the mag back to stock, taking all of 30 seconds. I ran three mags, with 10 round tubes for reloads after that.

Often I would use all 3 mags, but rarely would I reload with the tubes. This will vary by how you play and how many you play against though. Switching mags was quick and efficient, just hit the mag release, the mag pops right out, and hammer the next mag in. Before switching mags, make sure there is no ball in the breach to avoid broken paint.

I am a lefty, so the mag ejection is easy and comfortable for me to release. I never found that I accidentally released the mag in game either. For right-handed shoots it will be a little trickier, but there's an adaptor for the mag release you can pick up.

I learned a few good things early in the day while using the pistol, such as put in a new clip if you are going to attempt to bunker someone, but that's part of the fun. My first kill was a bunker, but had no paint for the next two guns in the bunker.

In my last round of use of the pistol I inserted a new mag without clearing the breach, and got a nasty break. Paint was oozing out of my trigger and my safety. I had other markers to use, so I just switched out, but needed to do a full marker teardown to clean it fully. Tearing down the marker can be a little bit difficult as there are some pieces that fall out easily and you have to deal with the trigger spring when putting the marker back together. I found the easiest thing was to tape the bolt in front of the trigger and then tape the trigger spring inside the trigger. This keeps parts for falling out and allows for easy reconnecting of the trigger casing with the body of the marker. Without the tape though it can be a very frustrating process.

Bottom Line: Excellent marker that provides a different way to play. Often relegated to a backup, but would highly recommend it as a primary marker. If you want a challenge, or a change of pace this is definitely a great option.

Pros: looks great, fires accurate
Cons: costs alot for the marker's speed
I tried out pistols today for the first time and played a T8.1 as my main marker. This is lighter than my Colt 45 officer's edition pistol. It's accurate at 20-40' and didn't break any balls, even though I took a hard dive with this pistol.

It's expensive, but like most expensive things, you get what you pay for. It's durable and a great Mil-Sim marker. I had a great time playing this for an afternoon in a mil-sim game. The looks of the marker match the looks of a stardard issue pistol and have the ability to be modified into other markers looks by adding a stock and barrel.

If your looking for a pistol, this is my vote for a clip action marker.

Tiberius Arms T8.1 Its a great gun but a pain to maintain it. The gun rarely needs it and is a tank that can withstand tremendous amounts of abuse.

Overall size and weight of the marker is fairly decent.the marker itself is comfortable to use despite the slightly bulky grip, grip can be easily modded to fit easier into the hand and is no longer an issue. Easily customizable to fit your needs in a paintballpistol.

Mags are a little pricey in.compairison to other markers but more then.reliable .
