Crusade is a mid-level ball designed to work in all conditions and terrain. Crusade marks well enough to be used at tournaments, but the shell is strong enough to shoot through brush, making it great for speedball or woodsball.

Pros: Relatively cheap for performance
Cons: Could be more brittle
This ball is a great choice for general rec play. It isn't nearly as brittle as tournament should be, this is more of a 'premium woodsball' or an entry tournament level paint.

If you maintain the environment it sits in well, it has a relatively good shelf life too, even better for taking it home for later use. This stuff isn't the best for a tournament, but a great value for those on a budget but understand that paint should be good quality.

Pros: Accuracy, Fill, Price, Consistency, No Dimples
Cons: Humidity Causes Swelling
Great paint for the price, I've shot 7 cases of it and have never broken a ball. The fill is bright and plentiful. 9 out of 10 break on contact and leave a nice 2 inch diameter mark that doesn't wipe so easily. Under normal conditions this paint bores .684, in humidity the paint tends to swell up to .687.

Even then the paint breaks on contact, not in the gun. Love this paint.

Cons: got one box that was overly brittle
I've purchased around 5 cases of this paint so far from the same shop. every time i got the green/black balls they worked great. once I got a box of orange/yellow balls and had nothing but problems. maybe it was old paint? they looked like they were in great shape, but were too brittle. they turned my marker into a blender.

Valken Sports Crusade I prefer higher paint or just cheap paint that break's easily. It is good paint, but there is better out there. Also it bounces on the body, but most of the time (80%) it will splatter. I suggest...

Cons: inconsistant
I have shot 4 cases of crusade in a mini and an A5 and it I have had very mixed results. 1 case was great, the next terrible with lots of hopper and barrel breaks. After that it worked well until it got hot, like 85 with high sun. I had a barrel break about every 50 balls. It worked better in the Tippmann (larger bore) then the mini. Switching to Graffiti.

Great paint for the price, I've shot 4 cases of it and only broken a couple. The fill is sticky and hard to wipe. Most break on contact and leave a nice mark. Likes my UL .84... but when it sits in the sun will get soft and swell leading to barrel breaks. But thats just down here in a very hot and humid areya.
