i bought my freak kit used and ever since iv had it iv used it every time. the apex barrel is fun to use while playing woods ball or just messing around in rec play. the carbon fiber tip is extremely light and you don't notice it at all. you can change the bore size with the different inserts. also the inserts are compatible with the other freak inserts. i do wish you could also get a 16in tip as well or have the option to choose it. over all its a great barrel kit but it is expensive.

The Super Freak is a great barrel system. The fact that you can use old Freak inserts is a huge plus. I personally like the CF tip over any of the others and will most likely never use the Apex. I think Empire should sell it without the Apex and give you the option to buy any of the tips to have one barrel with the 5 inserts, that would be a smart move for them IMO.

The empire Super Freak is everything you come to expect from a bore kit style barrel. It makes one remember the Smart Parts freak very well, and functions just as well as it's precursor, but in my own personal opinion it doesn't stand as high as it's competition.
I have also used a TechT iFit kit and a Stiffi Kit and found these kits to be nicer to work with as a bore kit. The Super freak is a good standing barrel, and with the full kit (Apex tip, carbon fiver tip etc) it is a great buy, but the bore kit alone I feel does not stand up to other current kits on the market. 4/5

This barrel matches every caliber paintball to date. And comes in verious color options its basically a one stop shop barrel system. A must have barrel.
