The Virtue Spire is the next generation in loader technology with a shot activated sensor, jam-proof feeding system and a tool-less design that can be taken apart and reassembled in seconds. Not only is the Spire an aggressive, lightweight, and compact design, but it also holds more paint than the leading competitors.

Virtue Paintball Spire After playing paintball for almost 8 years, I can say this is by far one of the best hoppers I've ever used. The only downfall is the price

Pros: Never Jams, Low Profile, Customer Service
Cons: Quality Control, Quality Control, Quality Control
Pros:

Never Jams. Ever. Super easy to maintain... breaks apart in seconds. The speed feed is the best on the market. It's remarkable. Nothing else comes close. Low profile... the smaller the better. Holds the most paint. 200+ paintballs. Customer service is just about as good as it gets.

Cons:

Quality control. I have 2 Virtue Spires. The first was replaced after it just stopped working for no reason. Wouldn't even turn on, and it was working perfectly the weekend prior. The second was broken out of the box. Virtue sent me a new board. It didn't fix the problem. It's currently broke and I'll have to talk to them again real soon. Pulsating issues... spinning out of control type issues... ect. It's a real pain, and for the price you pay... this shouldn't be so reoccurring.

Thank god for their lifetime warranty and great customer service or I wouldn't even recommend this product. When it's working, it works amazingly. You just have to weed out the bad apples. One last piece of advice, avoid the spring ramp. It's a waste of $10. It doesn't do a damn thing. I cannot emphasize enough that you shouldn't buy the spring ramp.

Overall I give this a 4 out 5 when it's working. With the troubles I've had I give it 3 out of 5.

so i picked up a spire as soon as they came out. As soon as i got it i threw it on my axe and uncaped it to just mess around and see if the spire would actually keep up with 30 bps. about crapped my pants when i saw that i was shooting a steady lane of 30 bps over the chrono for a hopper and 2 pods. So its fast enough, to shoot the max ill ever shoot, 12.5. one thing i dont like is the fact the only speedfeed for it is the virtue crown, but i guess since its there loader there gonna only allow there speed feed. if exalt comes out with one this loader will be complete! as for value i see this loader holding its value very well

Virtue Paintball Spire Excellent hopper. Exceeds the capacity of both the Rotor and Z2. Only improvement would be a spring loaded ramp like the Rotor.

Cons: needs upgrades like a spring ramp
Let me start off by saying the Spire is an excellent loader. It doesn't jam, it feeds fast enough for any gun, and it's small and light.

Also, it generally comes with the best speedfeed available without a doubt.

It's not the cheapest, but it seems to be the best hopper out of the Rotor and Z2.

Pros: Works EXACTLY as advertised!
Cons: A bit expensive
Customer Service:
When the Spire first came out, I had an issue with poor battery life, and the spire constantly spinning even when it was full.

However, I got in contact with Virtue, and the problem was remedied within a week! I send the Spire to them, and problems were solved!

Use:
Compared to my rotor and my team mate's rotor, I have never had any hiccups in terms of feeding. When I played with ****ty field only paint, or fragile Ultra Evil, or even old tournypaint, the Spire never failed me. Where as I have had team mates having to bring back up hoppers, tools to take apart their hopper in case of constant jams, or even cleaning a bad break in the hopper.

Conclusion:
As of July 2013, the Spire has come a LONG way.
With the release of the $260 shell stock as a VERy good price, as well as the SF speed feed, you get ALL that you need for a decent price.

The loader itself is small, (even the 260 shell!) light, and reliable!
As with many American products, you get what you pay for!
