Purchased new. Holds way more balls than the rotor. It feeds via vibration so you can't do a drop test, but dont let this fool you. It will feed just as fast as the rotor. The spire is durable, and holds alot alot more paint than the rotor. Over all I love this hopper. The only problem I would say is the price. It should be priced more around the 150 range.

I purchased this hopper and after an hour or so of play, it will popcorn, and then pulse, and then popcorn again. Its incredibly distracting, I changed the yellow and red setting and through trial and error got it down to just pulsing constantly and no more pop corning. When I get a back up hopper thats better and a B2 I will send it to Virtue I am sure they will be willing to resolve the issue. Or at least trouble shoot it.

I had high hopes for the spire after hearing all the raves about it. After using the two spires that I had, while playing Semi, they just didnt feed as efficiently as I hoped. Overall its a pretty solid hopper, but I still prefer my Rotor.

My spire has never jammed on me yet. It holds a true 200 with a speed feed which is great. It has the smallest profile so far. It feeds great I have a virtue spring ramp installed there for I have no issues with the last few balls feeding. Great hopper love everything about it. So happy I sold my rotor.

Pros: Light, easy to disassemble, no jams
Cons: needs the spring ramp
I have been using this for months without any issues and I have grown to love it even more than my rotor. The disassembly is a breeze and can be done on the field in seconds, no tools required. Battery life seems excellent as well. I haven't had any issues with it jamming either.

The only con I have is that you need the spring ramp for it otherwise you have to tip the loader backwards to feed the final few balls. Other than that, solid product, would highly recommend.
