The Virtue Spire is the next generation in loader technology with a shot activated sensor, jam-proof feeding system and a tool-less design that can be taken apart and reassembled in seconds. Not only is the Spire an aggressive, lightweight, and compact design, but it also holds more paint than the leading competitors.

Bought this on more of a curiosity whim a few weeks after they were released. At the time I loved my rotor, said rotor has since been sold. It really comes down to three simple points for me: lid changing system, the tray housing everything, and the spire drive. Feeds reballs like it is it's main job, brittle paint glides along without a problem. The lid system to me is a dream. Granted you could do the same type of thing with a rotor but not for the same cost.

The only complaint I can think of is from time to time if running through a full hopper without moving side to side it will always seem to have about 20 balls sitting in corners. Moving any direction fixes this, but it never happened with my rotor.

Virtue Paintball Spire The Virtue Spire is truly ground breaking technology in paintball loaders today. It can compete with any other loader out there and most likely beat it in performance.

Pros: Low profile, super light, high capacity
Cons: Does not feed when slightly tilted low on paint
I bought this loader and only used it for one day before trading it. The design is nearly 100%. It is a great loader in almost every way. I found myself with about 20 shots left with my gun slightly tilted and all the paint was trapped in the corner of the hopper and would not feed until I leveled out the hopper and tilted it back slightly. I did notice a slight ramp inside the Spire to help feed paint, but it could be slightly steeper. Maybe make it curved in future models. Or eve give the feed area more of a bowl shape inside to more force down those last few, sometimes critical, shots. Like I said, it is almost a perfect hopper. Just needs some fine tuning in the design.

This is hands down the best loader on the market right now. It's lightweight, has a higher capacity than other loaders out there, it's smaller than other loaders out there, the SF speedfeed is the best speedfeed out there, and teardown/maintenance is a breeze. Why would you ever go with any other loader?

I have had my spire for about 4 months now and I absolutely love it. I had a like new rotor go down on me so I switched to a spire. It hasn't even had a hiccup since i bought it. The only downside is that it needs a spring ramp (which is an additional $10) and the speed feeds are much more expensive then speed feeds for other loaders.

Cons: Read Below
I bought a black and green spire a month ago to get a free membership to my field. I absolutely love the low profile design and the easy to clean access.

However, my spire constantly pulses. I have tried every fix that is available and nothing seems to fix it. It absolutely kills the battery because the drivecone is always spinning.

The SF feed is amazing, and my spire has never jammed or had a hiccup. As soon as I get the pulsing issue fixed it will be a perfect loader.

Pros: Feeds anything, quick disassembly, wide mouth
Cons: Very expensive
I admit it, the prime motivating factors in my decision to order a Spire were:

1- Color. I ordered mine in black and purple to match my VIO.
2- Weight. Under a pound without batteries, 18.8 oz. with 3 standard AAs.
3- Ability to feed Reballs, which it does without a hitch.
4- Ease of disassembly. No tools required, at all, to switch between speedfeed and normal, change the batteries, or clean up a major paint break. Even swapping between 200 and 260 shells requires simply unlocking and pressing one button to release the back shell/door and pulling one tab to release the mechanics tray. The only time you need a tool is changing colors, and I don't see that happening often.

The Spire simply works. It'll feed my G4 at 12 BPS on the field or 35 BPS in the back yard.

My only complaint, and it's an extremely minor one, is the inability to push a button once and have it spool up to max speed for a drop test. Since it's recoil activated using a g-force sensor you have to either spank the loader or rapidly push the manual feed button to see how fast it feeds, neither option shows it's true ability.
