Pros: Comfort
Cons: Lens Scratches easily
After picking up a pair of these on sale, I was excited by how comfortable they were. Not only that, they provide a great field of vision as well, easy to breath through, and easy to take apart. Basically it provides almost everything you would want from a mask.

Almost everything. Sadly the lenses can scratch fairly easily. I now have a paintball shaped scratch on my brand new pair after being shot from no more than 30 feet away. I have been bunkered and otherwise shot in the mask by closer distances, and my other masks have not scratched, so to see these scratch so easily is very disappointing.

Empire E-Flex This is as close as I can get to my old spectras which I love. Not the prettiest mask but definitely functional.

decided i was going to get back into the sport this year (ive done this many times over the years) and started buyin up some new gear, i saw that empire had made their own flex mask and i loved it immediately. i bought one in black with the clear lense and i love it. i would like a smoked lense better but other than that the mask looks and feels great on your face.

Pros: Light, easy lense change, comfty, good protection.
Cons: Fog for days, double strap abilities
Disclaimer: I've been in the game a long time. I've used most every mask that's been on the market and have legitimate understanding of every product I review.

This mask, I bought brand new when I binged some spending $$$ on ANSgear.com. What you get is pretty standard for a mask brand new. A box, little manual, mask bag (USE THIS), the mask w/ clear lense unless otherwise specified, and a chin strap attached (removable). Nothing out of the ordinary.

Comfort: The masks foam is decent at best. Not like the old proflexes of old. The foam is decent though. I use headbands / sandanas / hats so really, the only foam that touches my face is on the bridge of my nose, under the eyes, and on the sides of the face. I've never had an issues though. The mask also sits a little different than anything else I've used on my face with one strap. I'll get into that later.

Looks: Definitely a sleek looking mask. The possibility for upgrades is always there because of the grill compatibility with the old proflexes.

Weight: The mask is light. I don't know how you can complain about weight though. Those people that complain about weight are the ones wearing 3 jerseys, 2 sandanas, chigos with gym shorts underneath, and have 10 pods in their pack then they come and complain about a mask weight? Get real...

Breathability: This is the reason I got this mask. Completely unrestricted and easy flowing.

Listening Ability: I can hear everything with these soft ears on the mask. Never need a repeat call.

Protection: The real reason we buy masks yet ALWAYS OVERLOOKED IN REVIEWS!!! This mask does its job and holds up to the standards presented in our industry. My ears are always protected, eyes as well, and my lower face is fine too. The large cuts in the grill can allow more paint to get around your mouth if hit and the ball breaks but, that's on all masks.

Upgradability: There isn't really any UPGRADES that are necessary. But there is customizability...

Customization: You can change soft ears, grills, lens, frames...Straps though...This is a little bit of a pain because I am a huge advocate of double straps with the way I want the mask to sit on my head. It's very doable but, a pain to do. There are tutorials online.

Anti-Fog: This is my ONLY peev about this mask. For some reason, I can not get more than 2 - 3 uses of each lens before I need a new one. Yes, I clean my lens after every day of play and practice. I also know how to clean them very well. But, I don't have any luck. I play In San Diego so it's warm but, not stifling. I also play in New England (New Hampshire, Mass, Maine for the morons) and that gets very humid. I can't explain this because my proflex lense never did this...

Overall: I recommend this mask. It's not the end all be all mask. But, it's definitely a top choice. I didn't talk about the quick change lense because I couldn't give a **** about that feature. Just take care of this mask and you're all set. Use the bag and only microfiber cloths for cleaning.

Cons: the black line in the lens
A great mask overall. I sold my proflex in favor of this. The mask offers the benefits of an Events frame, with flex lowers, and better ear coverage. Its very comfortable to me, and I really like the foam. My only complaint is the distracting black line inside the thermal lens. It doesn't really bother me during games (since you're focused on doing your job).

Pros: quick change lense, look, comfortable, breahable
Cons: FOGSSS
I literally spent almost an hour trying on diffferent masks and the WIDE FOAM on the E-Flex was hands down the most comfortable. The mask itself is good looking too. I used it for two days of play with no problems. By the third day of play it would not stop fogging. I even cleaned it, dried it, and sprayed Empire Anti-Fog spray using ONLY a microfiber towel to wipe and i CANNOT stop it from fogging withing minutes of a game. No way I just spent $110 on a thermal mask that fogs. I asked a few guys at the local pro shop and they laughed saying theyve had DOZENS of people come in with the same problem. Im returning it tomorrow since it hasnt even been 3 weeks.

Empire E-Flex I bought the eflexes a while back and honestly would rather a proflex because they are 70$ cheaper and work better IMO.
