I own the 4LT -Titan White.....This thing is a beast. I love this marker, I have been shooting ETEK's since 06' and this is by far the best one yet. My only problem is the trigger. This marker can be used by a first time player, or a tournament player. Very versitile, afforadable, accurate and reliable!

I would reccommend this marker to anyone!!

Pros: P.E. reliability
Cons: "Hand Cannon"
"The Poor Man's Ego"

Excited as I was to get the thing home, post photos of it, and shoot it... I was not disappointed.
PE builds good stuff... hands down. The Etek4 LT was no exception. For those who cant swing an Ego... the Etek4 is a great 2nd choice.
The 45 degree macro fitting coupled to the OOPS is sweet... mine shows immediate signs of macro line leaks. But after taking it out, applying a SMALL dab of marker lube into the push connect fittings on either end, and re-installing the macro line... problem was solved... permanently. Even after I removed the macro each time I cleaned the marker. Subsequent air-ups NEVER showed a leak again.
This being my first macro line gun, I was leary it would get in the way with switching hands during a point. The fact the OOPS puts the macro in line with the gripframe was huge... never had an issue with it and quickly became comfortable with the design. Fear removed, although I dont think I could ever own a macro marker that utilizes side-mounted macro fittings.
Shooting it, the first thing I noticed was the distance/ accuracy of the shots. Granted 280fps is 280 fps at the barrel tip... but for some reason, I felt the Etek4 had better range down field than previous guns Ive shot. A Back player/ Laner's dream when you dont have to put such an arc to your shots to rain down on the snake corner from Home.
Ease of maintenance... no reason you should ever see a filthy Etek4 at the field. If removing the bolt and cleaning the the breach is too much trouble for anyone, that person should find another sport. But that goes for any PE gun really, not just the Etek4. But a well maintained gun is a reliable gun. And this gun was just that... reliable. Take it out fo the case, air it up, chrono it, and play. Even during its break-in cycle, the velocity was always stable and consistent.
But like any other "Budget Version" marker, there are downfalls...
Fortunately I found really only one.... the sound signature of the marker. Can you say LOUD??
There was never a question of where I was on the field... shooting it side-by-side to Etek3, and Ego's... this puppy was dubbed the 'hand cannon". Even after putting close to 20,000 shots thru, it was still loud. Even after tuning it for smoothness...it was still considerably louder than any other Etek or Ego around me. I suppose a bolt upgrade would help...some, but I fear that will be the #1 complaint of Etek4 owners.... there is no stealth to this marker. They were loud before... and its seems PE didnt address the noise complaints at all.
But after shooting it for a few months, then switching to something not as nice... coming back to the Etek4, the sound signature becomes not so much of an issue when your G-count improves on the field.

Cons: Frame is Wobbly
I bought the etek4 lt mid summer of 2012. I want to state the performance rating is a bit harsh, but i would recommend buying the AM model off the bat. The composite frame seems to have lots of play when shouldered with a tank. problem would be easily fixed with an AM frame which i plan on buying (if they ever make em)

Besides that this thing is a beast. i routinely have people asking me what marker it is. they seem overly surprised by the fact its an etek. most seem to think its an ego 11...... nuff said lol

Cons: ??Board Options??
I got this from a friend at the field, and all I can say is WOW!! For the money, this shoots amazing. I have no trouble shooting across the field and keeping guys tucked in. This is a great marker for the price. The board is easily programmable to any setting and it comes standard with the Z2 kit to reduce kick. I use my iFit kit with I'd and leave my EGO8 in the bag as a back up. I see a Pooty Cure4 in the very near future and I believe that will make it a complete package. I love it.

Pros: Very stylish, and accurate right out of the box
Cons: not the easiest to clean, lot of nooks
Overall, one of the nicest markers I've ever used. I haven't always been into paintball enough to dedicate +$400 to a marker, but this was well worth the investment. The marker rarely breaks, and when it does, its simple to fix and all the spares I could ever want were included with the marker. Programming couldn't be any easier compared to some older markers I've used. Even though it's a little on the loud side, it blends in well on the crowded fields I play on most often. So I wouldn't say the loudness really affects performance on the field, one thing that does bother me is how often paint gets in the nooks and crannies on it. It always seems like there's paint on the gun every time I pull it out, even though I try to clean it as thoroughly as possibly after I play. Other than that, which is pretty minor, I love this gun. I would recommend it to anyone.

Cons: loud, some spray
Out of the box, looks great, feels comfortable. I picked up the blue one, so i love the color, its light, efficient on air, milling is nice, ect.

There is some side to side play with the trigger, but a shim can fix that.
Accuracy with mine is an issue with the stock barrel, but I just need to pick up the Shaft4 boost kit and that should be solved.
The Etek 4 is kinda loud, but i'm used to Tippmanns, so it sounds great to me.

Works great, I will be picking up the Ape board just because i dont like counting super bright LEDs, and the training mode would be useful.

My teammates like it, and had to try it as im the only one on the team with an Etek, they all have Geos, Egos, Luxe, G6r ect. (altho one of us uses an Ion)

All in all, def worth the $400, I would buy it again in a heart beat.

Cons: stock barrel, may be a bit noisy
I picked this marker up from my local paintball shop, coming from an Invert mini, i didn't really know what to expect. The first time i picked up the marker it felt like it was personally made for me, it looks great.

two weeks after i bought it i could finally take it to the field, aired it up, shot some paintball and it shot oke, shooting feels nice, you can easily swap it from side to side, it can take a beating.

Only thing i suggest you do is, get a barrel kit, the stock barrel is not that accurate and i got shot out a couple of times because my shot didn't go as i wanted it to go.

Now i bought an evil pipe kit and i am wreaking havoc on the field!, i really love this marker, i recommend this for the rec player or a tournament player who does not want to spend 1000$ on a marker.
