This gun shoots fantastic but is heavy on maintenance. Mainly I say that because of the lack of material out there on how to properly maintain the gun. Unless you are committed to this marker, you will probably find it a bi troublesome to deal with. Commit the time, and this will be your best shooting gun. Think you can pick it up every 6 months and expect it to shoot mint? I doubt it.
still chops paint, not as frequent as before but it shouldn't be chopping period.

Bought one of the first vapors that came out. The gun leaked right out the box. After it stopped leaking the gun shoot very smooth but would chop paint. I sent the gun back to get the leak fixed. The gun came back leaking and the reg was not properly put back on. Poor resale value.

i bought my vapor from a trading company, company sent a broken vapor to me and i sent it in and the tech been taking about 3 weeks to fix it and hasen't contact me for anything. best part is that they lie to there customers but the marker itself is the greatest, but the reliabilty is low because of broken marker broke like 3 times on my when my repair man fixed it and he is on palm beach vipers and knew what he was doing

Got an amazing deal on an almost new vapor and used it for a few practices and one MSXL race event. I must say that this is a great shooter.
Good: Soft shot, reliable, accurate, quiet. I loved the milling and anno work. Everything is top notch, and should be for a gun of this price. You get a very nice barrel kit and two triggers. As long as you know how to complete routine maintenance (like any other spool) the Vapor will be 100% reliable.
My problems with it: May have just been my vapor, but it didn't like the brittle tourney grade paint. I had problems with paint breaking in the gun on a few occasions, when others were shooting it fine. It wasn't just my Vapor either, there were a few with this problem. For a gun of this price I would expect it to shoot the super brittle stuff well. Ultimately this is why I got rid of it.
Another thing about the Vapor that I didn't personally like was the number of different settings on the board. It felt like many of the settings shouldn't be touched and could have been left off the board. However, I understand some people like that amount of customization, and this doesn't effect my rating of the gun in any way.
Overall the Vapor is a very nice paintball marker. I enjoyed shooting it and think that machine has a top notch product. They have spared no expense. That being said, I believe the MAP for this marker is a little high, even with the barrel kit and two triggers. If my marker liked tourney grade paint I would still be shooting it. It may be that the gun is new and all the kinks haven't been worked out yet. Perhaps Machine (or Promod) will come up with some killer settings that will solve this problem. If so I may get another Vapor in the future.

Not for new ballers there are many settings that need to be changed before you can start gunning down fluxes. Follow promod 's tuning guide for details on that. Should be on the vapor q and a forum.
