Cons: Shoot a lot of paint :)
I've been using the Clone GT since april. Ive played in a couple of local tounraments as well as rec/walk-on play with it. The GT has worked flawlessly every time Ive taken it out of my gearbag.

Build Quality: The GT is truly a pleasure to hold/shoot. All of the stock parts are very high quality. You can really feel the quality in your hands and it doesnt feel like the frame will bend unless you take a REALLY nasty fall. The ergos are a vast improvement over previous gen MacDev guns. The trigger frame feels great in the hands as well as the HPR...it just feels great. The stock trigger does leave a little to be desired (its not horrible or outstanding) although it is a huge improvement over previous stock triggers for MD. The anno is completely flawless. All of the parts match 100% and the milling is pretty good. Although there are milling marks visible on some parts of the gun. The GT just looks like it means business.

Maintenance: The Drive Train is completely tooless. Just lift up the tab on the back and pull out the DT. The HPR does require an allen key to remove it but that only needs to be touched every 8 cases or so. There are quite a few orings on the DT (20 in all. I believe only 2 more than the DM12) but only 6 or so have any friction applied to them. If you have half a brain you can maintain/trouble shoot the GT.

Reliability: One thing I see a lot of people saying is that the Clone line has reliability issues. Ive been using MD spoolies since the Droid came out in 2008. Ive shot several Clones (V2 and VX) and have not had any reliability issues what-so-ever. As long as you take care of the Clone it will never let you down. Just because it has 20 orings on the DT DOESN'T make it unreliable.

Balance: The GT feels very well balanced in the hands. It is very easy to manuver with on the field. It never feels like the center of balance is off. Super easy to snapshoot with. The GT feels like a gunfighters gun.

Smoothness: I constantly get comments on how smooth it shoots from other players...many of them are Luxe owners. The GT is almost on par with the Luxe in this category. It is certainly smoother than any of the Geos Ive shot.

Quiet: The GT is a very quiet gun. It is on par with all of the other high-end spoolies out today.

Efficient: The GT is a VERY efficient spoolie. 9-10 pods from a 68/45 out of the box! The GT is king of the hill in this area. Once broken in I anticipate at least another pod or two from it.

Software: The stock software on the GT is very easy to use. It is Militia software (Not Tadao as many believe) but it is very similiar to how the Tadao boards are laid out. It has every setting you will ever need for any situation you may encounter at the paintball field.

When stacked up against the other top-end spoolies on the market the GT competes and in some cases beats the competition flat out. I highly recommend that anyone looking for a newer generation spoolie at least try and shoot a GT before making their final purchase.

MacDev Clone GT Awesome marker. It's reliable and smooth. very accurate with stock barrel but even better with a Sly Carbon fiber barrel kit. That's why Legion uses Macdev. This is my 3rd Macdev marker.

Cons: machining doesn't feel finished
great marker if you like spool valves but are tired of only getting 6 pods of a 68/45. the GT shoots very smooth and coming with a shift barrel makes it that much better. the only downside this marker coming from someone who owned a luxe is the feel in the hands, some of the edges are a little rough just feels like the could have been rounded out and made to be a little more comfortable in the hand, not to say that the gun is uncomfortable the reg spacing and all that is good is just those finishing touches. who knows the gti upgrade may fix a big chunk of that with the new grips, but if you gotta have a con thats the one.

Ill still take a Gt over a luxe even with my complaint
