These are probably my favorite goggle system. I love how durable the lenses are (never seen one crack) and I like the looks of them. Only problem is sometimes when getting shot straight infront of the mouth, the shell/paint will come through and cut/welt you. This also happens in other masks, but I noticed that the grills had less protection than others.

I have had my Grillz for about a month now and they are by far the most comfortable, lightest, and most performing mask I have owned. Its also a good thing that they come with a goggle bag I wear glasses and with my old mask, it was very uncomfortable. But with the Grillz, I dont even notice them. They dont press against your face or anything and dont bend them. So the first time using them, I was very happy to get a bounce on the rubber part of the mask. And even in muggy conditions, only my glasses fogged up and not the grillz. Some say they dont like how there is not much protection for the neck. Well my suggestion is to stop getting shot in the face. I dont see any major inprotected spots. One thing that I think amazes me the most is cleaning and disassembly. I can take the entire mask apart and put it back together in under a minute. I gave it a 4 for value becuase I dont think any mask should cost this much.

ok first off, some people like to say that the lens gets scratched easily... that isn't true... what happens is that they are only supposed to put a layer of thermacure (the stuff that makes them "thermal" lenses) on the inside, but they put one on the outside also, so eventually the layer on the outside peels of... all you need to do is (this may sound stupid) but scratch off the scratch... it comes right off and it looks brand new... this is a great set of goggles! if you are looking into buying these definately doit! i used to wear proflex's and these totally blow them away!

Background Info:
The only mask I used before I bought a set of V-Force Grillz was the stock Tippmann mask that comes in the "Tippmann 98C Power Pack." I had decided that that mask just didn't cut it, and I needed something that performed much better. I did some research, and decided to buy the V-Force Grillz. Although I use E-Vents now, I do not regret buying the grillz and using them. The Grillz are great masks, and you get what you pay for.
Looks:
Some people say you look like a "bug" or an alien of some sort when you put it on, but most love the agressive styling of the Grillz. A lot of the newer, higher end masks are starting to have a more "agressive" style to them. When I used Grillz, I used Reverse Green/Black Grillz (Pretty much Olive Drab/Black) with an amber lens. I must say it looked good.
Comfort:
Although I prefer my E-Vents, they are both Extremely comfortable masks. It is really personal preference. If you are thinking about buying either, I recommend you try them both on first and figure out for yourself. Either way, they are both awesome masks, but as I said, it is all personal preference.
Field Of Vision:
A good field of vision, not the best, but still an excellent field of vision (as it should be with all high-end masks).
Ventilation:
Good ventilation, I wouldn't ask for more, but wouldn't take less. If you are breathing really hard, you can feel it but despite this, the mask still doesn't fog. Overall, I say ventilation is all around pretty good.
Lens Changing/Maintenance:
Extremely easy to change the lens. The E-Vents are just as easy, but you don't do it in the same way. The removable foam is also an excellent idea, and allows you to quickly change out sweaty foam between games. The only flaw I have HEARD of, but NOT EXPERIENCED with this mask is that it will tear near the strap (near the back of the mask). I used mine for over a year without this problem though.
Recommendation:
I definitely recommend this mask. It is an excellent choice, and you definitely get your moneys worth. Although, if you are considering a new mask, I recommend you try out a few. I am happy I switched to the E-Vents, and I would say try a few out before you buy one, because they perform very well, but you may find you like one more than another.

I had owned 2 Profilers in the past, sold both then regretted ever getting rid of them. But this time i wanted to try VForce's newer mask, to see if the mask is worth being a step above the Profiler.
Well the answer is yes & no.
Comfort & weight is just about the same. Grill has more bouncy parts. The mouth & jawline area are cut way different, to add to the aggressive look, which is good & bad - looks awesome but doesn't look slimming like the Profiler, although the Grill looking bigger hasn't caused me any problems on the field (not like i get shot more in the face or anything).
When i first got these, i still wore glasses. They didn't fit as well around glasses as the Profiler but in their defense my glasses were pretty wide. The face foam is split on the edges, as if to allow for the arms of glasses. Great attention to detail, even if my wide glasses caused me problems.
The Grill lens is shorter (vertically) than the Profiler lens but seems to be just as wide so peripheral vision remains the same. Not many people need to look straight up & down on the field, anyway.
My only gripe is changing the lens. To remove it, you have to remove the goggle strap, since it has clips that retain the lens clips (kinda like lens clip clips). They aren't easy to take out (yet). But once the clips are out, it just pops out. Easier than changing flex lenses but not as easy as the Profiler - they shouldn't have changed that.
tl;dr - looks & feels great but budget players should opt for the Profiler.

I have had Vforce Grillz for about 2 months now. Overall they are very comfortable and lots of breathing room. I think the appearance is really cool and they seem really reliable especially for the price. They could be a little bit cheaper. Overall they have my vote and I definitely recommend picking up these goggles.

I have switched back and forth between the Grills and ProFlex since May 2008. The Grills are a great mask, very easy to maintain and clean, with just a few downfalls.
Looks
The look of the Grills are aggressive, and have aged quite well over the past five years. The variety of lenses and mask colors make it quite customize-able.
Feel
The mask sits very well on the face, and doesn't apply too much pressure in places that it doesn't need to. While not the lightest mask out on the market, it's not the heaviest either, and is comfortable enough to wear for an entire day of paintball. It is tall and wide enough to provide good protection, but not so wide that it gives additional area to be hit by a paintball.
Field of Vision
Good field of view, but not as wide or tall as the tried-and-true JT Proflex system.
Ventilation
The Grills does not breathe as easily as other masks do, which can lead to fogging at inopportune times. While some of this can be prevented with thermal lenses, even they are susceptible to fogging after time.
Maintenance
They are extremely easy to maintain. The entire mask can be broken down without tools, and the ability to remove the foam from the mask allows you to simply toss the rest in water to clean.
Lens
They are absolutely safe. They do tend to scratch more easily than some other lenses, and in my experience the thermal lenses don't provide their fogging protection as long as other masks do.
Voice Projection
The Grills, in my experience, tend to bounce a lot of sound back toward your ears, and seem to limit the ability to communicate clearly across a field.
Overall, a great product, with the only major caveats revolving around the long-term ability of the lenses to not fog up.
