All of the great features from the Geo 2 are included as well as the new POPS ASA and regulator fitting. The POPS ASA that comes stock on the Eclipse Geo 2.1 is a completely new concept in On/Off and Purging ASAs. The idea is simple. Just push back on the front Bonnet section of the Planet Eclipse POPS ASA and this depresses the pin in your tank, gasses up the marker, and then latches itself into place. Gassing up Eclipse Geo 2.1 takes a fraction of a second and once gassed up, the bonnet stays in position until the push button on the side of the POPS ASA bonnet is depressed. Once the push button is pushed, the bonnet pops forward and the marker purges its air. Again, de-gassing takes a fraction of a second and very little effort. The second new feature on the Geo 2.1 is the recessed and angled macroline fitting. Now positioned at a 45 degree angle on the back of the regulator, the macro fitting will stay out of your way no matter how you choose to hold or shoot your paintball gun.

Cons: Inefficient
This was my first spool valve marker, and it was quite an experience. This marker is just phenomenal. The trigger was incredibly walk-able. The milling is really nice on these as well. However, the Geo 2.1 could be more efficient. I never touched the dwell because I loved how smooth it was and did not want to affect the performance. Definitely check this gat out if you can! Really nice marker

Cons: doesn't like the cold
Picked this up off a friend and have had a blast shooting it. Gone are the days of counting flashes. Love how easy it is to program and use and switch firing modes. Shot is smooth but it doesn't have the greatest efficiency. Also needs a lot of love in the cold.

I like my Geo 2.1 so much that I actually bought a second one. The grip feel and the way the marker is set up is very nice and very comfortable. They problem I had with the marker was how weak the metal in the grip is. I bought a Dynasty edition 2.1 and had absolutely zero problems with it. I then bought a black and red 2.1 and the red grip actually twisted on me. I don't know or when actually since it was at a tournament. The great thing about it though was the P.E replaced the grip with little to no hassle to me. They are great customer service and I can't wait to get a Geo 3.

Planet Eclipse Geo 2.1 I love my geo 2.1 and it is by far the best spool gun you can own. Don't have to worry about tuning it. Just air up an go and not many markers can do that!

Pros: Fast, reliable
Cons: kick, feeling, efficiancy
I bought my geo 2.1 brand new from a local shop. Now, I really wanted a spool for the smoothness and I wanted Planet Eclipse for the customer service. I opened it up and Wow, this is a GORGEOUS marker. Everything looks so pretty from the milling to the anno job. They really did a great job with this marker.
Then I shot it. Its pretty smooth, but suprisingly after 10000 shots, there is STILL kick. It really is surprising to me how much kick this thing really has for a spool ( I shoot a luxe now). Also, the regulator is a little too close to the trigger frame and it is hard to fit my fat thumbs in there. However, the screen is fantastic and it is a great high end marker. Overall, I would definitely recommend getting this marker if you want EASY maintenance, good CS, and a quality marker. If you want a gun that will have no kick at all or is a little better on air, then i would recommend a different marker.
