these goggles are the one thing i would never change about my field equipment. they are durable and comfortable (i have a big head) and protect enough of your face neck and ears to be safe. they might hurt a little more for ear shots but the trick is not to get shot there from too close. i love these goggles and let me just say, there is a reason that they have not changed the design of these since i started playing paintball and they still sell them in every paintball store across the country

Cons: getting hit in the face sucks
I found the proflex to be a very reliable mask with good field of view and fairly high build quality. I found the mask to have average or below average foam. The lenses arent quick change but can be changed at a reasonable speed. The protection this mask offers is poor at best. The masks soft ears are a bit of a joke and easy to break. The lower part of the mask offers very little protection to direct hits.

JT Paintball ProFlex Great mask. It is so flexible that it absorbs shots. It has many colors that you can choose from and that is a great part. They are also extremely inexpensive. Awesome goggles.

JT Paintball ProFlex I can never go wrong with the Proflex. Light and super comfortable for any size head. Too many ways to customize! Lens are easy to change!

I love how soft the foam is, how the mask looks, and just hte sheer functionality of it.

My only complaint...Since it seems soft ear mods has gone out of business, Im having trouble finding replacement ears...

Pros: Super comfortable
Cons: Lens removal
You can breathe, hear, and yell easily with this mask. The bottoms give great bounces even from close shots. The mask isn't super small on your head so your jaw gets nice cover. Straps are kind of a pain to replace but at least you can replace them. You can also dual strap if you want extra support or you wear a lot of headgear. The bottoms of my earlobes stick out a little bit from under the softears but I have the small softears on mine and you can get larger ones and even plastic ears if you wish. You can also install the ears from Dye i3s if you wish. There is a chin strap if you use one but I took mine out. Its a simple rivet on each side that holds it in.

Overall, I have found only one thing I don't like about this mask. The lens is really hard to remove but the frame provides a nice seal against the lens so you really don't have to remove the lens unless you have some major issue. If you get an Eflex, you can get an easier to remove lens with most of the same aesthetics as the proflex.

Cons: Break in period
Started with a JT X-fire in 99ish, Spectra Flex 7s in the early 2000s and moved onto these.

I'm biased because of history but I love these masks and recommend them to everyone. Only downside is it takes a bit to break in the frames, but once you do lenses slip in and stay in. Try one out!
