Pros: customizeable, great breathability, doesnt fog
Cons: lenses are a pain to remove and ear protection
The JT proflex was one of my very first few masks ive owned, and back then it was definitely top of the line and a head of the curve as far as masks go. Now a days people say it is a bit dated and i guess it is in a sense, it doesnt have quick change lenses and the ear protection is pretty poor, but it is still my favorite mask out there. no other mask produced gives you the amount of customization that the proflex offers, and i have yet to find a mask that breathes better. Ive owned alomst every top of the line mask out there, events, i4's, grills, yet these are still my go to mask everytime i hit the field

Pros: Weight, Customizable, Bounces
Cons: Soft Ears
Right away something you will notice with this mask is the customability options. You can change the straps, soft ears, the frames, the bottoms, and you can add a mask wrap to it. You can also change the lenses. I got mine in plain red, but I'm planning on getting a mask wrap for it. This mask is a definate head turner during a day of recball with a bunch of people using rentals. The bottoms get you lots of bounces, however sometimes it will push the rubber to your jaw and sting your jaw (nothing a paintball player can't take though o_o). Another thing that is really good about this mask is the field of vision, it is the perfect height and width for a small face like mine.
The only thing I don't like about this is the ears. After about 20 games the ears were starting to tear at the screw that screws them into the mask. This isn't that big of a deal though because you can fashion some makeshift soft ears out of mouse pad. I noticed that I had to unscrew the ears initially and lower the soft ear on the screw because with bigger ears like mine you will get shot there if you get bunkered or something.

Overall this is a great mask for the price and I don't regret one penny I've spent on it.

Pros: Create you own style from 1000s of parts
Cons: Lenses are hard to change ( I rarely change them)
Period of Product Use:

Strengths:
NO FOGGING!
260* Vision
You can create a mask all your own
Very comfortable
Breathable

Weaknesses: Lens replacement could be easier but as this is in the Spectra line-up, they all work the same and the lenses rock so it's not a problem.

Review: I've been using JT masks since I started playing in 98 and have loved most of them. Started my own PB business and as people would buy different masks I'd ask to try them out testing the way they feel, breath ability, hearing etc.

-Several different styles of soft ears are available ( I like the Revo style myself) as well as hard ears.

-Breath ability is at its highest, you don't feel stuffed up or strangled when you wear em. You also don't feel like you are yelling into your own face.
The Flexible bottom was really nice as I have gotten bounces off of them.

Conclusion:
I found absolutely nothing wrong with this mask. The Best mask system I have ever worn. Without a doubt, the best mask for the price and for the features.

Pros: Comfort. Light Weight. Excellent Ventilation.
Cons: Small learning curve when removing the lenses.
Period of Product Use: March 2009 - Present

Paintball Experience: April 1997 - Present

Similar Products Used: V-Force Grill, V-Force Profiler, V-Force Morph, Raven NVX Goggles, JT Elite Invader.

Strengths: Comfort. Light Weight. Excellent Ventilation. Customizable. Durability.

Weaknesses: A small learning curve when first removing the lenses, but you quickly master the task. This isn't that big of a deal, as you won't be removing your lenses that often anyways. Soft Ears could be firmer.

Review: I have used V-Force products for years and was a firm believer in their products up to the point where I tried on a ProFlex vision system. The differences between the masks were incredible. Not only did the ProFlex fit better to my face, the increased ventilation allowed for the mask to not fog up at all in conjunction with the thermal lenses that is standard with the mask.

Additionally, the light weight of the mask, along with the excellent field of view, makes it easy for a player to forget they are wearing the mask at all. The mask fits snugly to your face, even with the increased room when comparing to other companies vision systems. For all of you who wish to stand out from the crowd, JT has a plethora of options from lenses, to straps, frames and mask lower sections. There is something to fit every player's personality.

Conclusion: My estimation, the ProFlex is a step above all other comparable vision systems, it delivers safety and protection while allowing the player to make the mask their own. I gave the mask a 9/10 mark due to the fact that the soft ears could be a bit firmer on the mask.

Rating: 9/10

Pros: Comfortable, customizable, durable, lightweight.
Cons: Relatively high-profile; feels big on your face.
The JT ProFlex is truly a great mask!

I've used my fair share of masks in the past, and not all of them were that comfortable. Some made my head feel like it was in a vice, some pressed on my ears (especially because I wear glasses), and a few even made the front of my face hurt (around my eyes and nose). So, it was a welcome change when I slipped on a ProFlex and found that it felt like I wasn't wearing a mask at all! The ears are soft and comfortable, there's plenty of room for my glasses to fit without bumping into the edges of the mask, and I didn't feel like my face was being squished, which is definitely a good thing.

This comfort does come at a price though, or at least, it did for me; the mask feels huge! Being a relatively small person, I like to have gear that suits my form, and keeps me a "low-profile" player, and unfortunately, that's not what you get with the ProFlex. Although it's incredibly comfortable, it's a relatively high-profile mask, and if you have a smaller face, you're going to notice quite a bit of excess space inside the mask, that you'll probably wish wasn't there. Now, that won't be a bad thing for every player, but I felt it was worth mentioning, in case you're like me and prefer things to fit nicely.

Another great feature with the ProFlex is the customization options that you have. You can change nearly every aspect of the mask, from the colors of the tops and bottoms, to custom ears and straps, etc. If you've ever seen a player with a mask that had 20 different colors and tons of flash and style, then it was probably a ProFlex. So, if you're into that sort of thing, there's definitely room for it with this mask.

Because the ProFlex is so customizable, it's also relatively easy to clean and maintain. Everything comes apart and goes back together in the blink of an eye, and rarely did I ever have to use anything other than my own two hands to complete the task. This is definitely a good thing if you're obsessively meticulous with the cleaning of your gear like I am.

In many masks, you run into problems with communication and ventilation, but luckily that doesn't happen with the ProFlex. The bottoms of the mask are ventilated very well, which allows you to inhale and exhale without issues, and allows your voice to carry nicely when communicating with your teammates, which is obviously a good thing. In fact, I found that unlike most masks, I didn't have condensation forming on the inside of the mask by my mouth, which is a result of the hot air you exhale being trapped inside the mask; that's how good the ventilation is. This however, comes at a price; if you get shot in that part of the mask, you're likely to get a mouthful of paint and shell, and the mask may even "fold" and slap you in the face under the force of the paintball, which doesn't feel all that great. It's a trade-off.

All in all, this is great mask. There are a couple of things that I would have done differently, but for what you pay for them, they're definitely worth the money, and should easily be one of your favorite masks.

Pros: One of the best ever made
Cons: Lense change
I've been playing for 10 years and have always used a flex mask. Whether it was a pro flex or the original flex 7, these masks have always been on my face or in my gear bag. I've tried other masks, and some are great but I always fall back to my pro flex.

Pros:

Light
Good Vision
Customizable
Easy to Use
Value

Cons:
Lens Change

If you've never used a Flex, you need too. If you play in humid areas where everything else fogs, get a flex. They won't fog. One of the most versatile masks ever made.

One of the comfiest masks in the world of paintball, the foam on these is fantastic. The frames, bottoms and traps are easy to change out for a truly customizable look, although the lenses can be a bit tough sometimes. Overall this mask looks and works great regardless of skill level.
