I used have a Halo and a Pulse, but once I used my friends Velocity I sold them both and switched. My velocity has never jammed as much as my Halo used to, and it's less bulky than the pulse. I don't shoot that fast myself (11-13bps), but my friend shoots around 17-19 bps and has never had a problem with his velocity keeping up. When I first got a Velocity I noticed it didn't have a rip drive, which I thought was a bad thing, but after using it I realized it's reliable enough not to need one. The only negative aspect is the short battery life, but an upgraded board will solve this problem.

when i first used my vlocity(about 6 mo. ago) i was really amazed. it didnt have one single jam(and still hasnt since) and kept up a very consistent feedrate. i've never chopped a ball with it, and my shocker didnt have eyes for the past 4 months that i had it, never chopped once.
overall, IMO it's the absolute best loader on the market. i havent tried every loader out there, but i've got absolutley no complaints with my Vlocity, i dont think ill ever need another loader(unless this one breaks).

i really like the power switch on the vlocity because it is so much easier to just flip a switch than it is to press and hold a button, and turning it off is just as easy. the only downside to the vlocity is the battery life, but the solution to that is turn it down to mode 1 or 2, use duracell or enrgizers and change batteries once a month.
i traded for this hopper but it is well worth the $130 that vl asks for.

Picked up my first Vlocity about 5 months ago. To this day it is my absolute favorite loader. It outperforms my Halo and Pulse. Probably the most reliable and fastest loader on the market. It has absolutely never failed me. Never chopped a ball. It's been good on batteries for me, and the design is perfect. Its amazingly lightweight and the stock shells withstand abuse
Easy to control, and very simple. Many available upgrades/mods. Feeds amazingly fast, and is extremely reliable
I would recommend this to anyone, who is looking for a reliable loader for a decent price.

I've had my Vlocity hopper for the length of 3 of my paintball guns. The loader worked perfectly fine on my Up'd Ion, Bob Long Marq Rapper, and now my MacDev Drone DX. The loader is very easy to use/maintain. Although the shell does require tools to disassemble, it still is not very difficult.
The hopper is light, works great on every marker, and is simple.
Con: The shell/lid are fragile. I have several cracks in my lid and shell body, but the loader is still being used to this day and works fine.

Great hopper its not loud if your in the game shooting but if your on the side lines watching its loud. Everyone complains about battery life it seems but personaly i play psp 13.33 bps and all you have to have the hopper on to be fast enough is mode 3 mabe 4 if you want. If you go up to mode 7 you are screwed on battery life all you need is mode 3 or 4. I love this loader no jams to prove how great it is compared to halo go watch paintball vids where pros usuing halos r usuaing rip drives. If anyone wants to know why vlocitys dont have rip drives its bc they arent a halo and they smoke them

After owning a Halo B for awhile, I decided to get a Vlocity, and I absolutely love it. It is by far the lightest hopper I have owned and it performs to match my ego/borg. I bought a Gangstar chip which improved the battery life tenfold and made it much faster. In my opinion it is the greatest out of any hopper available on the market.

Crap construction, poor battery life, poor support
I don't understand when people post a review of something where they point out an items many shorting comings, but yet still give the item 5 starts in every category - like the VLocity.
When this hopped first came out, it was not QA'ed and was built with sub standard part and assembly practices in China. A large majority of the original VLocity hoppers didn't work right, has board problems, the infamous "ghost" bug and many other issues. Rather then QA their products and fix these bugs before putting it up for sale, ViewLoader sold them anyways. They let us, the poor players, figure out and fix all their bugs for them, and then they would fix it in the next run of hoppers. It's a poor way to do business.
On to the mechanics. The stock VLocity is HARD on paint. The stock spring in the cone that allows the paddles to pulse is too hard of a spring and can cause breaks in your hopper and in your breach.
The pulsing of the motor eats up your batteries like nothing else to. Bring a new set for each day of play - not kidding! And the battery door, like on Halo type hoppers, crack and get busted from play.
The new Dynasty edition, with the exception of the star paddle, is a good improvement to the original VLocity design (it's based off my mods). The XSV edition with the clock paddle is a joke. The flexible clock spring paddles stay back and don't give you that spring effect like they had hoped (computer design it first maybe?)
For the price, there are much better hoppers on the market using new technology, not the same old repackaged ideas ViewLoader has been using since the late 1980's.
For $120 go get a Magna, Torque and DXS Pulse.
