The VLocity hopper is an extremely good hopper. It keeps up with any marker on semi, and is well beyond most tournament caps. It looks about like most electronic hoppers except a few, like the Rotor, and it looks good. I have never had this hopper jam on me, either.
It does sucks batteries though, and C batteries are pretty expensive. I would suggest investing in some nice rechargeable batteries. When the batteries get low, the light flashes yellow, which is nice, but it also feeds considerably slower, almost down to 13 BPS. I would recommend changing batteries, if not every time you play, then every other time you play.

With the disclaimer out of the way, we were sponsored by JT Sports and used a mixture between this and the Velocity JR. For the MSRP, you really could not go wrong. The hopper held up to a beating for 3+ years and kept going. Only after 3 years did there start to be signs of stress fractures in the plastic.
The only real con was as tall the hopper sat on the marker. It made a huge target when you were trying to play a bunker tightly.

Viewloader VLocityI had a vlocity for about a year and I loved it while I had it but it ended up frying after about a year. I've noticed almost all vlocity's go out within a year.

Viewloader VLocityI picked up one of these for very cheap. I cannot say for one of these new but when i used one i had more problems than working ones. None the less it always worked and fed paint WHICH is a plus.

Viewloader VLocityI have owned 3 or 4 of these. Thinking that each one would be different. I have had the same problem with them all. Feedneck breaks, battery life's not good, and they are loud. Oh and it jams

I absolutely love this loader. I'll continue to rock one even if the "high end" loaders were cheaper. Been using vlocitys for over 5 years and the only issue I have is when putting the hopper back together. If your not careful it is really easy to break the mode button or pinch the wires.

The Vlocity is an acquired taste. Most people seeing it for the first time will use words associated with "ugly" and "hideous". However, once you have become accustomed to the unit it takes on it's own beauty.
Performance:
This is where the Vlocity truly shines. It feeds at a high rate and in today's world of uber fast gun it stands up to the test. Unless you have the world's bounciest gun or fastest fingers, you will not out run the Vlocity.
Reliability:
For the most part the Vlocity is one of the most reliable hoppers on the market.
- Easy to program
- Easy to disassemble/clean
- Battery door is secure and innovative
- You can replace the current chip set (solves battery problems and adds more speed!)
The not so good:
- Seems to crack around the battery door if you are not careful
- If not careful when removing shells buttons may be torn off
- TERRIBLE BATTERY LIFE
Value:
Great value. You pay less than a Halo and you get comparable speed and they are easier to care for. Add in the ability to change out chips and you have a KNOCK OUT unit.

If you've been using a Halo and want a lighter setup, the Vlocity is the one to get. It basically loads about just as quick. 8 force settings, but I usually keep it at either 1 or 2 and it was plenty enough.
If you want a light setup, this is the loader for you. Probably less broken feednecks too now that the loader as a whole is lighter.
On the other hand, you can see that the screws keeping the half shells together are digging into the plastic itself, as opposed to being held by hex nuts like a Halo. This might be a problem if you are obsessive like me and have to clean all your gear inside out after every day of play. Mine is still as sturdy as ever, but after seeing how the screws work, I'm cutting down on the cleaning just in case. It would be really cool if VL would just start using machine screws and hex nuts.
They make speed-feed type caps for them now, and I got one for myself. It's at a somewhat steeper angle than a halo speed-feed, but I've gotten used to it.
Appearance: it's function over form for me, but some people don't like its looks. Others love it.
Performance: it's fast like a Halo and lighter too. I heard that it eats batteries, but I use rechargables so I wouldn't know...
Reliability: it turned into a blender once when I used setting 8. I toned it down and it's been a charm since.
