At the cup, I bought myself an EGO8, DM8 and a Droid. I told myself I would keep my favorite, and the Droid indeed was my favorite. It's small, quite, accurate, consistent (reg is REAL nice), etc.
The only problem I have with it, is it's looks. In my opinion, it kind of looks like a really up'd ion. When I took it and used it at my local field, many noobs mistaken this for an ion.

I purchased this gun almost a year ago, and for 4 months it was broken. I've had problems with the bolt, the keg, the noid, and the regulator.

Perhaps I bought a lemon, but nonetheless, it's very hard to find parts online, or even through this website. It took me months to find a gold bolt. When I finally did order one, it was on back order and took almost 2 months to receive. Gladiator reg? Back order. And the only reason I need a new reg is because the one I have, the screw for the operating pressure seems to not stay tight. (it's not stripped.)

And now, with the problem with my regulator, I go through about 10 shots per PSI. 4000psi is done in 400 shots or less. I'm just really done spending more time fixing and finding parts for this gun than shooting it.

I can go on and on about why I would not choose macdev again.

It's a great gun when it works, but a real pain in the *** when it doesn't.

this gun is really great and i would recommend it to anyone. it has little to no kick, it is really efficient compared to other spools (dm's) it comes stock with laser eyes, the stock board is amazing it is just like a virtue 12 different modes and it has a training mod like the ego!! it is sooo gentle on paint, and it is sooo quiet....... the only thing i dont like about it is how it looks but thats just me but even if you think its kinda ugly, i think you should shoot one the performance makes up for it for sure ...........

I just got this marker from a friend. I really liked using the marker. It was a little bit tough to get the velocity to sit at the field maximum 285. I kept jumping between 310 fps and 270 fps with just the smallest turn opf the adjustment.

I don't know if you can upgrade the regulator but I noticed that the marker shot a bit faster on fresh tanks.

Hoping to keep this marker for a long time :=]

Thanks 187 crew

I loved the Droid. Its on of the few markers I regret whoring out and selling. Im 6'4" and the stretched out frame felt super nice in my hands, and it just felt great for running and gunning. A little long for snapping well, but I suck at snap shooting anyway lol. Gold bolt makes it even better!!! I never broke a ball!

I have owned 2 Droids. I owned a DC Monstars Droid for over 2.5 years. This Droid was upgraded with a Tadao Yakuza board, Gold bolt, & a Violent Products trigger.

Anodizing: Extremely beautiful with no blemishes
Barrel: 2 piece anodizing matched barrel came stock
Efficiency: I could shoot almost a full case of paint with a full fill with a 68/4500 tank.

These markers are amazing! They are fast, light, & efficient...they still outperform markers that cost twice as much as they do. They offer some of the best bang for your buck, and I would recommend them for anyone that is looking for a high performance marker that won't break the bank.

I just acquired one of these in a trade and it is honestly a gun that I will not get rid of even if I acquire newer guns. I have been a spool valve gun for quite a while (usually did a tophat mod for efficiency) and appreciate the smoothness and quiet sound signature. This gun is true to that spool valve nature, but one ups all others... It is crazy efficient. I just shot a full dye rotor and 2 pods off of a 56/45 with 2k psi.
