I got my pulse awhile back. It was faster and lighter then my halo. All was great until I sent it into dxs for cracked shells and feedneck about 2 months ago and have never gotten it back and dxs wont return my calls or emails but thats dxs and not the loader. I love my pulse and would use it over a halo any day(if I ever get it back).

Pros: Removable Tray, Speed, Still Warrantied!
Cons: Not too Reliable, No more production of it
I bought the pulse beacuse of the removable tray which i thought was great. At first I loved it, but then the first problem that occured was the neck of the loader cracked and fell off my gun..MIDGAME...So i sent it back and got a new shell....Well It happend a second time a few weeks after I had gotten it back... So again back for warranty...Well alls good right wrong....the clip that holds the tray in the shell cracked and wasnt doing nething and only the other side was hold it in so i had to send the trya back for replacement under warranty....So then I got it back and everything seemed good well it wasnt...It seemd after I got the replacement tray The on/off button was almost flsuh with the plastic piece it was supposed to be sticking out of...it would turn on and off on its own because it was so far in..id turn it on and it would be on then it would just turn off....So I sent it back again for repair and when I got it back I received a black tray and my Loader is SMOKE....I feel like this loader was a waste...my halo has outlasted ti for 5 warranty repairs and is still goign strong..I have jsut bought the new empire to replace my pulse and ill probably keep the pulse as a backup backup because im afraid itll break again...but if my other two loaders ever break then maybe itll see some time on the field ever again....maybe

Pros: Fast. RF Compatibility.
Cons: Heavy, DXS still in litigation?
I bought my DXS Pulse a while ago, but never put a review about it. I have used it with many guns, including my 05 ICD Freestyle, 04 Prostock Ebladed Cocker, and Bob Long's Protege, Vice, and Marq series.

Appearance wise, it is one of the ugliest hoppers out there IMO. but that ugliness is displaced by many of the Pulse features.

This hopper is fast. Paired with the RF transmitter I have on my Yakuza board, it keeps up with my fingers on my Marq. Shooting at NXL full auto, I can hit about 26 bps peak (goldwaved). The drive speed is only turned up a little higher than halfway, I've never had a reason to open up my hopper and turn it up more.

My only gripe with it is that is is really heavy. It is heavier than my Rapper, throwing off the balance of the gun. It is something I have gotten used to, however. The balance would probably be better improved if I used the 2x 9v option instead of the 6x AA.

I have dumped a pod with some broken balls in my Pulse, and after pulling out the tray and taking a microfiber to it and squeegie-ing the feedneck, my hopper was back in business. It was more work to clean the paint that ended up in my Rapper.

Battery life was also pretty good for me. 6x AA's usually last me 4 weeks of play, about 6-8 cases of paint. I usually change the batteries when it starts slowing down, not when the hopper dies.

The only other problem with my Pulse is a crack in the battery door, which I'm just too lazy to get replaced for free by DXS. I'd rather play with a little bit of electrical tape on my hopper than miss a couple weeks playing with it by sending it in to Procaps.

The biggest negative about it is that Procaps is being sued by NPS over the use of the RF technology, so customer service might not be up to par as other loaders. I heard it's about a 1-2 week turn around from Procaps when sending the Pulse in.

tl;dr
Ugly heavy hopper but really fast especially with the RF. Would be money if Procaps wasn't being sued by NPS.

-Halo speedfeeds fit
-Decent battery efficancy

Procaps Direct Pulse The pulse was a good hopper for its time however recent advances in the hopper world make it obsolete.
