I picked up a set of i3 pros off of actionvillage a few years back right when the i4 was released I believe figuring I'd try it out and I absolutly love this mask.
Appearance: The mask in my mind looks better or just as good as any other mask on the market, it does't get five stars because I prefer the look of the dye i4's or empire events but thats all person preferance. Don't let apperance keep you from purchasing this mask if you are not a fan of it, enough said.
Performance: This mask gets four stars here because it is light and never fogs up during play. It does a excellent job of protecting your face/forehead as well as your chin and even the uppermost part of your neck. It should however be noted that changing the lens is a complete pain and may take you at ton of time (-1 star).
Reliability: I have had this mask for over 3 years and have never had one single problem with it. I had a little trouble figuring out how to get the lens out the first time I cleaned it and that is absoulutly it!
Value: If you look at getting this mask anytime after this review was made and are lucky enough to find a cheap one I deffenitly reccommend buying it. I spent $60.00 a few years back and it was worth every penny.
All in all great product dye!!!

I swapped to an i3 pro from Dye after my old reliable Flex 7 went flying off my head on a particularly gnarly superman dive into the snake... I wanted a new mask with a chin strap after that.
So instead of another Flex, I decided to try the new (at the time) i3 pro. I got the white on black one, if that matters.
It fit well and I was able to breath very easily without fogging the mask. It was a BIT large and felt like I was wearing my old Army gas mask again when I had it on, compared to the Flex 7 I was used to.
Field of view was adequate, nowhere near as good as the i4. Padding was very comfortable and the softears worked very well as well.
I ended up finding too many negatives (for my particular game style) and I sold it to buy a Flex 8.
I would probably not recommend the i3 pro unless you HAVE to wear a Dye mask and you're normal sized (the i4 won't fit you correctly).

Weight - Appearance & Performance
Big improvment from earlier models which were quite heavy and slipped down. These are fairly light, along the weight of Proflex's and Grillz. Great job for Dye in this part. Light mask now with no slipping down what-so-ever.
Feel - Performance
Feels good on the face and conforms very nicely. Does not irritate eyes or anything like that. The straps have rubber on them to help stop slipping and they are very comfortable.
Venting - Performance
The venting on the I3 Pro is alright, not to bad, not to good. It gets pretty hot since the vents dont let out the warm air or anything like that, gets kind of annoying. Communication is more difficult than using other masks but hearing things is pretty easy. If you get a mouth shot it will probably break and will get a little paint in your mouth.
Field Of Vision - Performance
Field of Vision is really good, can see everything. Their also arnt any irritating things to get used to like the nose peice on the profilers coming up so high. Good FOV.
Safety - Reliability
Lens are good for this sport and dont scratch very easily. They are good overall. Everything else on it is safe to with maybe the exeption of the soft ears which I havent been shot with close by yet and im hoping it wont hurt or anything.
Maintainence - Reliability
Still freakin annoying as the other Invisions. Lens are a pain in the arse hole to take out and most people just give up. Dye really needs to come up with something new and easier to get the lens out. Big down for this.
Bang4Buck - Value
Overall these are great masks and if you like there design you should try and pick one up, they work good as most other high end masks and you wont be disappointed.

Dye Precision I3 ProThis mask has great breathability to it and stays well on my head. However changing lenses can be a pain but once mastered it goes really easy.
This mask, like the flex7, fit very well and was very light. The field of view was great, but the lens was brittle.

I've used the i3 Pros for a few years now. I always liked the look of them but always thought they may be too small for me. I have a decent size head (7 5/8 baseball hat) and was worried about my jawline being exposed. Not the case. The coverage is great and I don't worry about taking one in the cheek. They're semi customizable. You can change the soft ears, strap, and I believe the frames. There is plenty of room between your mouth and the mask so echoing has not been a problem ever. Hearing is not hindered either like some masks.
Only thing that is a con is changing out the lens, but this is a known downside. I still see these being sold in almost every PB store I have gone to so it must not be a major factor.

-these goggles are extremely light, and the lenses are very sturdy
-i got mirrored lenses, and leopard soft ears for mine and with the gold colored mask, it looks great altoghether, really has a great appearance
-very protective, cover pretty much all of my face
-everything is easy to take apart and reinstall
-comes with great stock lenses!
Cons
-to be honest, there is nothing i can think of that is bad about these goggles,
the only thing that i could possibly think of, is that is was kind of difficult to get the stock lenses off and the new mirrored lenses on. but besides that these goggles are amazing and a must have!

ive had an i3pro for about 2 years now and its a pretty good mask. the vision is good, and the selection of lenses dye has for them is very good. the soft ears do their job and its easy to communicate through the mask. the lenses tend to scratch pretty easily though, if you get hit in the mask be prepared for some circular scratches to appear. luckily lenses are readily available. i personally like the events alot more then this mask, but theres plenty of people who would disagree with that. try someones on and see for youself

Appearance: This mask looks damn sexy. Dye put some style into the design, so I feel like the paintball version of master chief running around. lol
Safety: Been shot a bunch in the face and never had a problem other than some paint in my mouth. Although getting popped in the head is pretty common and doesn't feel good at all.
Performance: This stock HD lens is great. People say it isn't anti-fog but it is. I bought a clear 2layer thermal also, and they perform about the same. The field of view is outstanding, I never have problems seeing people unless my mask is dirty. I tend to forget I am wearing the mask when I walk off the field and I realize once I try to get a drink, lol.
Cleaning: This part sucks. If you need to take your lens out to clean, expect to sit out a game or 2. I tend to just start ripping the top part off as hard as I can and work my way around, but it does hurt my finger as i do that. Also, to keep the lens performance up you must clean it a lot. Not removing the lens, but at least wiping it down. You must use water and a clean cloth or rag (preferably something soft). That is also the secret with the HD lens to keep it anti-fog. After every day of play, take out the lens and rinse it with water and wipe with a towel. NEVER use cleaners, just water. My HD works great during the entire day, and when it is dirty I just have a jug of water I pour on my mask and wipe it clean. Once I run out of usable rags, it is usually dark enough so that I have to switch to the clear double layer lens anyways (thats why I have 2).

Masks are important. Play long enough with rentals and you'll wish you had your own. This is obviously leaps and bounds above most rental masks, and it's also got some other nice features.
First off, it's a very low profile mask on your face. VERY low. It's also somewhat elastic, for a possibility of bouncing paintballs.
Talking and listening through the mask is great! You hear less of your voice and more of your surroundings which is very important.
Comfort and fit wise, the mask is comfortable as far as masks go. I've never wore a perfect mask, but this comes darn close.
I reccomend it strongly, except for two things:
1: Lens changes suck (especially the first time) Be prepared to be patient or curse a lot.
2: Mine did not come with an anti-fog lens. For this kind of money, I would EXPECT to have an anti-fog lens, but alas, no. The HD lens is great for seeing when it doesn't fog up. Really great outdoor color for woodsball.
So, it's a good mask by all means. But those two things knocked off a star on value.
