Great marker with a lot of features that makes it one of the most popular spool valves out there. While this gun is probably not recommended for first time players just because of some of the more complicated settings, a common paintball player with medium knowledge could mow down the field with this gun.

I have owned multiple luxes. 1.0's 1.5's and 2.0's. They are all amazing markers, and in my opinion, they are the best marker on the market since 2008.

When you hold a luxe, it feels like an extension of your arm, it is the perfect length and ergonomics. Also, you can barely hear the luxe when you are playing, its whisper quiet.

People complain about the efficiency of luxes, but if you have them properly broken in and tuned, you can get atleast 8 pods and a hopper off a 68/45 fill. For me personally, I am a back player on 5 mans, and I only carry 7 pods and a hopper, and I always have about 1000 to 500 psi left in my tank after a game. Just have to know you equipment.

I must say I was a DM dedicated owner for several years.

I go the Luxe, and after the break in phase the Marker is unbelievable, almost unfair.

The accuracy is unsurpassed.
No great on air, but very quiet.

My con is that you need to lube it alot, but how easy it is to do it's not really a bad Con

Pros: Best spool valve on the market
Cons: Price
I've been playnig since 2000 and seriously since 2002. I took a 11 year break due to work and life and I can honestly say I've seen miraculous change in technology in the paintball industry. Wth that being said I can honestly say that the Luxe 2.0 is the "Angel" of our time now. It's price is up there for those who can afford it. The features make it one of the most easily adjustable software out there. I can honestly say the only drawback is some minor inconsistencies during cold weather which can easily be adjusted via Dwell, price, and bareel thread. The priceis high but worth it if you're into that level of competition and well the barrel thread makes it unique compared to the market running AC threads. Take this review for what its worth, but thanks to the wide use of YouTube you can tech almost any marker if you can afford it and have the connection speed. The only question now is if you the player can keepup with the Luxe???
