I bought the carbon fiber limited edition events back in early 08' I believe they have yet to let me down. the lenses are top quality hardly fog up even on very cold days. comes with smoke and clear lenses and the goggle bag is also a lens cleaning cloth. overall I'm very happy haven't had a problem yet!!!

Originally this mask platform was the first I began using when getting into competitive paintball, it was definitely a decent choice. This mask is very comfortable and the lens design offers a wide range of sight for players. The lens is also very easily and quickly removable with the quick change system. Downsides became apparent were the lack of venting on the front to provide better breathing and vocalization, as well as a foam design that was not easily replaceable.

Looks: The event is one of the best looking masks on on the market. I got mine in yellow/black.
Performance: the events are not exactly that easy to breathe through, but there are plenty of good things about this mask to outweigh the cons. This mask is lighter than my i3 and proflex. The lenses are both huge and give you a wide range on view. The soft ears are ok, they are a little stiffer than I would have liked, but this doesn't matter to me anyway. Most of this mask is made out of a soft rubbery material, but the colored part is a very light, sturdy plastic.
Maintainance: I have only changed the lenses on this mask a couple of times, but I can already change it in a 1:15. I haven't gotten shot in the grill yet, but it looks like it would need a air can or something to clean out the grill.
Value: Well, instead of telling you what I think about the value, Ill say what it comes with an the price and of you decide whether or not the value is good. The events come with 2 lenses, one smOke and one clear, a visor, a brow shield, a mask bag, a lense bag, a manual, the mask, and a nice case/ stand. I paid $55 for it. You can decide whether or not that was a good deal.
