The Merlin was AKA's first attempt at building a complete marker. A clone of the WGP Autococker, it was built around AKA's low-pressure parts.

As far as Cockers go, the merlin is one of the best ever made. Its huge valve chamber allows for high rates of fire with no shoot down, and a lower over all operating pressure. I know this is supposed to be a review of a mechanical merlin, but mines electro... so the bigger valve chamber really helps when you're shooting around 20bps on an electro version. Also having AKA threaded feedneck is nice instead of the goofy WGP type of feednecks. Also being able to get them completely unmilled to be milled in whatever design you see fit is nice, and they also have a lot of nice mills available already. And as far as value goes, the price of almost every other cocker out there is rediculously low, these are some of the only cockers left with any value.
