One of the fastest and most reliable paintball loaders in the industry. The Valken V-Max Loader is capable of feeding paintballs at speeds up to 30+ balls in a second. This loader holds around 220 paintballs with is great especially for those back guys that are looking to shoot more paint before they have to reload.
Available in: ACU, Marpat, Woodland, Black, V-Cam, and Jungle Camo

Advertising says this hopper holds over 200 paintballs but it's capacity is between 170-180 balls. Advertised speeds are 30+ bps. but it seems to be more around 25~27 BPS. It can keep up with my Shocker in most modes outside of response. It will keep up with any marker for most tournament play as most tournaments are capped below 15. If you really feel the need to waste paint at 30+ bps, this is not the hopper for you. It doesn't feed consistently if you are aimed down hill as balls slide to the nose and don't feed down the raceway, but this can happen with most hoppers. While not perfect, this hopper has served me well for the last few months. Battery life has not been an issue

Ive tested multiple Vmaxs since they came out as the initial one i used i was somewhat disappointed with. Unfortunately i experienced the same problem each time i used one. The loaders would not feed consistently faster than 13 bps. its suitable for PSP for the most part, however i experienced occasional skips where it wasnt able to keep up. Not a bad loader if you're a rec player or looking for something extremely reliable and simple, however it does lack in speed.

Valken Sports V-MaxThe vmax is a good loader for the price. It is easy to take apart. The loader does seem to be inconsistent in its feed rate from time to time.

I have a BL Intimidator and I have never had a problem with it. I never actually run full auto though, since it is kind of a waste, so I cannot verify 30+ bps. It is consistant enough for me to use ramping set to 17-20 bps and not miss a shot that I could notice. So as far as speed goes, this thing rocks. In fact, I use it with the 1 9-volt upgrade most of the time ($15 and makes it run on one 9-v instead of 2) and I don't have issues.
Battery life is as expected with 2 9-volts (I don't count cases, but I don't think I change it more than any of my previous loaders). I really like the one 9-v option.
I use a virtue brand speed feed, but there is a less expensive valken one.
Taking it apart is easy and does not require tools.
The price recently went down to 90, but I thought it was definitely well worth what I paid for it. It is the more reasonable rotor (who needs 50 bps), comes apart just as easy and looks just as good (even has some camo options, I have a black one though) for almost $100 less.
Best hopper in it's price range!

The Valken V-Max is a great hopper for a great price. It can feed 12.5bps just fine and it is very simple to use.
Its lighter than a rotor, uses 9v batteries and is built nice.
It does have some flaws however.
The battery door sits low enough to block my bolt from moving. My gun has the smallest feedneck around, so this will not be a common problem, but one that really bugged me.
The feed ramp inside is almost flat and sometimes you will need to shake the hopper to get the paintballs into the feeder. Also if you tilt your gun, the balls will fall out of the feeder thus causing you to miss shots if you are not careful.
Despite these flaws it is a great hopper for the price. I give it 3.5/5 stars overall.

The product did not live up to everything Valken hyped it up to be. It doesn't feed faster than about 11 bps, so playing PSP 12.5 you will have hiccups in your firing. It drains batteries very quickly (similar to the old Vlocity). It also is flat inside so the paint doesn't feed into the tray properly if it is not full of paint. The only good things to this hopper is its light and its easy to take apart. I use mine for on my autococker and automag.

I bought this hopper to replace my halo and well it didnt do that at all
This hopper was not worth the money spent on it this hopper has to be the worst supposed "high end" hopper ever to be in production
This hopper is the "high end" version of the nxe jrny
Both hoppers suck and should not ever been made
Problems with vmax
1 so inconsistent past 10 bps that its insane
2 bad on brittle paint
3 shell feels really weak
4 the feedneck feels like its going to snap everytime i move
5 the hopper popcorns like crazy
6 the stock lid sucks and the valken speed feed doesnt compare to virtue or exalt
7 even on best days the feed rate doesnt hit 20 bps
