This gun is a Tippmann, it will not break on you. The reliability of this gun, just as any other Tippmann is incredible. Its receivers aren't metal, however they are still VERY strong. I highly doubt you will see them crack from normal play. If you are looking for a gun to mess around in the back yard with, or to play some woodsball or even speedball once or so a month with, consider this gun. For the price, you get a decent electronic marker, backed by the Tippmann name.
