Internally the Etha is a radical departure from anything seen before in an Eclipse marker. For the first time we utilize a spring return bolt system in the firing mechanism, allowing us to simplify the pneumatic side of the marker and use a Pull Poppet spool to release air from the firing chamber. The Etha comes delivered in a hard case with everything you need to look after and maintain it.

i just couldnt handle the dang kick and the awful pinging sound this marker has. if someone were coming from a mechanical low end gun they most likely wouldnt mind. but i couldnt handle it

I have played with everything from the Brass Eagle Raptor Pump to the DLX Luxe 2.0 to the Planet eclipse CSL. And after all of that experience, this is pretty high up there on my list of favorites. First of all, it's quiet, smooth, and it feels great in the hands. It shoots FANTASTIC and and I have no complaints. The LED on the back is the brightest I have ever seen, and there is a massive button that is easy to push, even with gloves on. The modes are extremely easy to switch as well. The trigger is easily adjustable, the bolt is easy to remove, and the gun can take a beating. On youtube, there is a torture test. Watch it and you will see what I mean. If you are looking for a great marker for under $400.00, this is your best bet. I even rate it above the axe, if both are stock.
To planet eclipse on this one.

Returning to the sport I chose the Etha based on it's price and the functionality that it came with in it's stock form. You really do not need to upgrade the board, or any fancy shmancy parts. It fires right, and as fast as you want right out of the box. The only thing I am looking to change at this point is the barrel (control bore sizing) - and to replace the trigger once one becomes available. *The stock trigger works fine, I just don't like the side to side play (which is fixable - search it) and would rather have an aluminum one.

The Etha is a great marker for anyone looking for an entry-level marker that preforms better than most other entry-level markers. Like always with planet eclipse guns you get legendary reliability and great packaging that comes with the gun. I know a lot of people are turned off by the gun because of the look that it is cheaply made but when you hold it in your hands you can tell it is of quality materials. The ergonomics on the grip aren't the best but they are fairly comfortable to hold and this gun is easy to shoot and set up. It is very user friendly and would be great for the entry level player. For the time i have used this gun it has never broken down and it preforms so well!

As an Empire fanboy I had always run with Axe, Mini, BT... however i think the Etha has made me a partial convert. The Etha is an inexpensive marker, but I have an issue that it is listed in the 'low-end' reviews section.
The Etha comes with a 2-piece barrel which is actually the starter kit for the Shaft4 barrel system. The Shaft4 is an amazing barrel system with a long control bore, and is probably the best stock barrel on the market and with an upgrade kit you have an amazing paint match barrel system.
Second, the Etha itself just doesn't feel like 'entry-level'. To me it feels close to the base model ETEK4 or similar. With the addition of the EMC body kit, you have an amazing woodsball rig that holds it own on the speedball course.

this is an amazing gun! people say its gotta kick to it but its not that bad. although... I was shooting a spyder before this ><
got bout 10 pods and a hopper on my 70/4500 guerilla air with myth g2 so its real efficient.
i personally like the board in it. i found it was very easy to use once you set it and change things a few times, or while you look @ the manual
got a fancy little DeadlyWinds Fibur barrel with the freak inserts and it compliments the gun very nicely. shoots very straight. stock barrel was alright. did its job
the only negative is the trigger frame. wish they would have fallowed DYE with thier proto guns and have the same frame as the GEO or something so you could upgrade it and get different triggers and what not for it but im sure they will release all that kind of stuff soon enough!
Planet Eclipse EthaThe gun shot great the entire time i've used it. It was just a spare gun but i was destroying guys who had ego11's and even luxes.
Accuracy was a little off.
