Internally the Etha is a radical departure from anything seen before in an Eclipse marker. For the first time we utilize a spring return bolt system in the firing mechanism, allowing us to simplify the pneumatic side of the marker and use a Pull Poppet spool to release air from the firing chamber. The Etha comes delivered in a hard case with everything you need to look after and maintain it.

Pros: Gun shoots solid
Cons: LED Too bright, Case too big, more down below.
The overall performance of the gun impressed me when I first shot it. I like the slight vibration when the gun fires, it gives a slight natural kick. The trigger took me a while to get used to, but once I got the hang of it, shooting it was like a dream. Great gun for the price. There are 3 cons about the gun that don't bother me too much, but it would make the gun much better if fixed. The LED is too bright. When playing night games, its very noticeable. The case for the gun is too big, and I would of liked a smaller square case like the Etek, Geo or Ego case. I also do not like how the stock barrel is reverse threaded in the middle. I replaced the barrel, but beforehand it was confusing the first few times. Overall, the marker is very good for the price and highly worth it. 9/10

Pros: light, efficient, solid
Cons: lack of color choice
I bought an etha expecting a mini/ion type gun. Man, was I wrong. This is a top notch, tournament gun for more than half the price. It shoots straight, has a good feel to it and looks great. Efficiency could use improvement, but overall, it is a stellar gun for the price. The etha has a bit of kick to it, but it will even out as it starts to break in. Thank you Planet Eclipse for making another solid gun.

With the Etha, PE has done it again in creating a nice alternative in the lower end price range of markers. Doesn't quite shoot like an EGO or GEO but for 1/3 of the price. Added a 48ci tank and a Prophecy Z2 loader and had a complete blast playing with this marker.

Pros: Weight, Price, Shape, Color, Silent, Consistent
Cons: Brightness of the Led Ligth On/Off
Planet Eclipse Etha is a good option to use in woodsball and scenario paintball. Lighter than a milsim marker, ones performance in the woods or inside a building can be better because of the easier movility. I bought this marker not only for its lightness, but also is cheaper, has a smooth line, nice color, reliable, consistent, and silent. Also, Etha has a 14.5" two pieces barrel that is the perfect size for woodsball and scenario.

Kick? Etha does not kick.

Why you do not try to use an electromechanical marker and compare the kicking between them?

I have been playing woodsball since 1996 with semi-automatic, electromechanic, and electronic markers.

Planet Eclipse made Etha using specific parts from Ego, Geo and Etek.

If you guys want a better performance from Etha use a Dye Rotor.

I dislike the brightness of the led light on/off.

Pros: cheap gun for the quality
Cons: poppit spring, shot, price
when compared to a mini, or old ego, or old dm that you can get for the same price, it just doesnt make sense. Its not too good at any one thing and it costs a substantial amount. some people love em, but i just dont see the value. Until recently the poppit spring issues were just a pain. Their springless poppit replacement cured that bit, but should you buy a used one that hasnt been replaced, you'll have to wait a week or two for the part from PE

Pros: care, work horse, perfect starter gun
Cons: borad use
this is a great gun for people who are starting out and mid level players. This gun is very easy to take apart and clean. This is defiantly a work horse gun and can be used in any condition. The board can be kind of hard to use and chang between settings. I would suggest this gun for anyone who's trying to get into the game.
