I knocked the vest for performance, primarily, because it doesn't do a good job holding DYE lock lids, which I use exclusively. They kinda fit, but just a tiny amount of Velcro touches, so the connection isn't very strong. Why they did this, I'm not sure. I haven't had much trouble with their molle pod pouches... their fit isn't great, but it certainly is a lot better then the pouches on my echo vest.
Some of the echo vests don't have a very big pouch for a hydration system, so look at the vest you are buying and make sure it isn't one of the earlier versions with either no pouch, or a tiny one.
I really wish this vest just came with no pod pouches on the back at all, and gave the user the option of being able to add molle attachments.

I received this as a gift for xmas. I am new to Valken so I requested an L/XL as this is what I wear in everything else. Once received I was unabe to oull the waist straps together. I am a 36 waist. Exhanges for 2xl/3xl which is next size up. I alter was informed they offer waist extenders for an addiotnal fee. i like the pack the harness the sizing just seem off. It has alot of features. Durable.

Valken Sports V-Tac Echo Paintball VestGood scenario pack for those extra pod days. Chest buckle is too low and sits across the upper belly rather than the chest. Has held up well to 6+ mos of neglect (i mean use)

I own both the Valken Echo and the Valken Bravo tactical harness. I bought the Bravo after using the Echo for 1 season and thought...there must be something better because I could never reach the middle two pods...so I bought the bravo.
The difference in them is that the echo is in the speedball format of 6 pods across the back and the bravo is three pods per side that ride vertically stacked on the hips.
Pros of the Echo - very easily worn, comfy does not move at all, and hardly feel like you are wearing any weight at all since it is distributed along the pod pack and shoulder harness pretty equally. Pods are held in by velcro pod traps that do not come undone Cons of the Echo-- just cant seem to get at the 2 middle pods very easily and no amount of training or practice has helped.
Pro's of the Bravo Harness- easier to get at the pods that are at your side or hip area. Still feels like you are not even carrying 6 pods and a tank, very comfy, highly adjustable, good quality. Cons of the Bravo harness -- pods on the side makes you wider and not quite as manuverable. Pods are held in by elastic bads type loops that clip over the pods catch...often come undone or get caught. Ive lost several pods of paint to the ground because of this.
SO! like most things...it depends... on how you like to carry your paint
on how secure you are with elastic loops holding your pods closed, on how good you are with reaching the middle pods...
