Tippmann Sports X7 Phenom felt like you'd spend more on the gun than it was actually worth.

Pros: Powerful for the money
Cons: Heavy
I have upgraded the marker now to have a sling, longer barrel, sites and stock. The gun performs better now that I also upgraded the bolt, trigger and hopper parts. I don't think of this gun as a low end gun. It performs well. I had some issue with the heaviness of it but have counter weighted it with addons that make it easier to hold. Weather seems to affect the paintballs a lot in this gun, sometimes I switch to my A5 and it works fine while the Phenom doesn't??? I would suggest buying this only if you are short on cash and want a performing gun.

Pros: Easy to maintain, Fits any play style
Cons: Can be heavy
I have been using this marker for a little over a year and a half now and absolutely love it. After owning over a dozen other similar markers, this has become my go-to whenever I go out to the field. It does well to fire both good and bad paint, is fairly efficient on air, and has so many customizations that the options are limitless. I would suggest it to anyone that like milsim/woodsball play, but it isn't the best for speedball.

I bought a Phenom for those days in the woods when I didn't feel like wasting a ton of paint but still wanted to have a good day playing. Consistency is pretty good seeing as it's a Tippmann and the ability to change the marker to the look you want is awesome.

Pros: Mil-sim Look
Cons: Heavy, Long, and hard to maintain
I bought this because I wanted a mil-sim look and a better performing marker overall. But what I found was while it proformed better than a 98 custom, it was not as simple.

The x7 cyclone feed does not allow you easy access to the chamber and cleaning the phenom is a pain sometimes because you need special greese, not just any old oil will do.

Did it proform yeah it did and if you are a pro player who needs an edge then this is the marker for you. But if you are a weekend just palys for fun, you would probably be better served by the 98 or a similar marker.
