Pros: Light and compact
Cons: 2 mode board and feedneck
I bought this marker used here on the Nation. I've had for about a year and used it about 3 times. It's a pretty good marker for beginners and has a few upgrades available on the market.

This DP E1 is very easy to use and very light weight, even when loaded up for play. It's pretty reliable and easy to maintain for a rookie player barely getting into the sport.

Pros: Light weight, easy to maintain and has a good amount of upgrades.

Cons: It has 2 flaws right off the bat. the board is only 2 modes and one (full auto) of them is not allowed at any field. The second flaw is the built-in ASA, but on the positive note it's only $19 plus shipping to replace from DP.

Overall it's a pretty nice marker and makes a good back-up or loaner marker.

Price paid: $210.99
Pros: Small, efficient, simple
Cons: Few board settings, kick
The E1 is a nice entry level electronic marker. The on/off ASA makes it easy to degas the marker for cleaning, the microswitch is surprisingly smooth, and the marker has an overall quality to it which makes it easily worth its price. However, compared to some other markers I've used (Mini, Ion) it has a lot of kick and moves around a lot during shooting. Also, the board only has two settings: semi-auto 25 bps, and full auto 25 bps. This marker is fine for practicing or for playing a small game with friends, but I'd be hard pressed to find too many big tournaments that would be okay with the electronics on this marker.

Cons: Small, 2 modes.
The gun is very small but extremely light. It is a spool valve marker but shoots more like a poppet. It is very quiet and shoots ropes and is quite gas efficient. It only has 2 modes on the board it comes with (Semi-auto, full-auto) but it doesn't really matter because you can upgrade the board.
