The B.A. Raider is the best Beginner Marker.
It is Totally Reliable and wont fail you!
My friend got it on the street for 20 Bucks!
this is a great gun and works really well with the Empire Halo B hopper, it didnt hicup at and shot well. (although its really ironic that i got the hopper for $30 and my friend got the marker for $20.)
i would suggest this marker to anyone. the trigger is good and fires pretty fast! this is a great gun and it is simple too.

Appearance: 5 stars. This marker looks sick.

Performance: 3 stars. It isn't the most accurate on the market. The barrel on some I think you can switch out but I'm trying to figure it out. The modability is not very good on it. It has a flat trigger and can deffinetly shoot up to a bit over 8 bps.

Reliability: Ok I would give it 10 stars if I could but they only had 5. This marker will not fail you. I believe it will even shoot without having the bolt (a little exageration).

Value: Well it depends on how you look at it. The reliablility is high enough to make it worth a lot but close but no cigar. You should never pay more than $30 for this marker. (although it is WAY better than the B.A. Cybrid, Yuck!) $20 is a great deal and is worth it and $30 would be a little bit of a stretch but still worth it.

Pros: Totally Reliable

Cons: Moddability is horrible, Can't change the barrel. Accuracy sucks unless you are close...about 50-60 feet.

The one negative part is that the barrel does NOT come off, it is a cheap carbon fiber barrel that my friend took a wrench to and it still didnt come off

Over all the Brass Eagle Raider (A.K.A. The Bat Gat) marker is great and it Can, Did, And Will continue to take guns that cost more than it an perform above them! BEAT THAT!!!

My friend and i took on a guy with an invert mini and another with a BT gun, my friend had the Raider (Which we call the 'Bat Gat' because its purple and black) and i had my Spyder TL and i got eliminated then my friend took on the Invert mini by him self and won! so idk about you but this is a great gun!

i give this gun all 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Pros: very reliable
Cons: terrible accuracy
This marker is very reliable but it is not very accurate, and you can't even change the barrel on it because i'm pretty sure that the barrel is glued to the gun because I was trying to get it off one day and I was using a pair of plyers but the plastic on the end of the barrel started stripping, so I stopped trying and just use the stock barrrel because it is not terrible, but its accurate range is around 50 feet so its bad for back fielding but if your really aggressive and you like to get close than this is a great gun for you.

Pros: hardly ever jams.
Cons: chops like heck
First off this was my first marker. This mechanical should never b compared to the mid or high end electros. Second i love this gun. Felt good slapping some shots on the d-bag with the ego from the opposite end of the field because i knew how the shots flew. Finaly this is a good gun to get in to the game without paying >$100. I'm replacing it with a PMR 2011.
