Pros: Very light, accuruate, worth every penny
Cons: no on off asa, not a clamping feedneck, kicks
Very lightweight and its worth every penny, shoots very fast and comes with a great stock board. Programed with psp, millenium, uncapped semi, and full auto. Comes with eyes and the solenoid it great. This gun has never jammed for me ever and it will NOT miss youre target, when shooting at my fence it kept every single shot within a 3foot by 3foot square. The only thing i would suggest you mess with is the trigger because without a .050 allen key the trigger isn't very fast. but with the key i can shoot it very fast after some adjustments were made.

Great gun, only upgrades i suggest claming feedneck, and better asa

The Proto Rail 2011

The rail is a very nice gun for the price. its very light and shoots straight. the trigger feels smooth and is very sensitive, it has little to no kickback at all. It has never broken paint on me I must say.

Fresh out the box I upgraded the feedneck to the Dye Lockdown Collar With Lever, the one it comes with needed a Allen key to tighten it down, that didnt make sense, the other upgrade the gun can take is a 14 in barrel, it comes with a 12 in barrel..the modes are excellent it has (semi auto - full auto - psp and millenium) I've only used it in semi auto mode so far. and truly dont see any need right now for the other modes..semi is rocking! "I'm unstoppable on walking the trigger". Maintenance is not hard at all, Dye made it very ez with the included full color manual and included service tools.

All in together this Marker is top notch!

Its a must buy!

My set up is:
2011 Proto Rail Red/Black
Dye Rotor Black/Red
68/45 CF Ninja Tank

Price paid: $230.00
Pros: At $230 it is basically an NT in anyones budget
Cons: Clamping feedneck, No on/off airport, barrel
Other than the screw type locking feedneck, 11" stock barrel, and the airport with no on/off, this gun is absolutely beautiful and shoots just as nice and quiet as anything. I like my 2011 rail more than my 2009 proto PMR. It is light, has many new features such as the eyepipe. You can upgrade the feedneck, barrel, and airport for about $120 and you will basically have a gun that could take you anywhere and last a lifetime. I would recommend this gun to anybody. Mine came with a defective board, sent it to dye. They took care of it fast and no problems. Even with that set back I still love this gun. I have played airball with it a few times and probably won't be using my 09 pmr anymore. This gun is light!!!
