Made of high-strength Kevlar, the stuff that stops bullets. Another high-preformance enhancement is the Hydro Gel heel insert, which provides a shock-absorbing cushion. The ATC Hydro Gel offers complete traction and comfort in all terrains.

I've been wearing my ATC cleats for almost 4 years now, and other than the Dye emblem coming off the bottom and one of the zipper pulls giving up the ghost, these things are going strong still.
I've worn them in mud, rain, desert style heat, you name it. Toss em in the washer (after hosing off as necessary) and let air dry in the house, and they're good to go!
They have a nice aggressive tread/cleat pattern and a socklike neoprene top that keeps out most crap from getting inside.
The zipper flaps that cover the laces are an amazing design feature that I love... no double knotting, my laces never come untied.
I wish they had a high top model of this for ankle support, particularly for scenario/woods play.
Cons: hard to find now
I recommend these for all players (if you can find a pair) for woodsball/scenario or speedball.

I liked the traction of the ATCs, generally, but the hardness would sometimes make them slippery on rocks and wet / hard surfaces.
They were fairly waterproof. Could run through mud and water and the tightness and fabric kept my socks dry.

These are possibly one of the nicest shoes. If dye would have kept producing them i would have bought them again. They were really durable and i got great traction. the only real issue came was the zippers started getting stuck and then the cloth that covers the laces tore.
deff would buy if dye starts making them again.

I used these for a while and they are really good, but heavy. The zipper was nice because it kept laces out of the way. The shoes get good traction and work well on any surface. Like I said, only problem is the weight. They are very heavy shoes. Not recommended for tournament players.

I have owned these for about 3 years now. They are worn through, and I refuse to replace them.
The zipper is great. I don't even use laces in my cleats anymore. The zipper holds well enough. The sole of the clear flexes well too. I have no problem planting the ball of my feet from the kneeling or even coming up from the snake.
They are built pretty tough. I have yet to keep any other pair of cleats in any other sport last this long in these kinds of conditions.

Dye Precision ATC (All Terrain Cleats)used this shoe since 2005.
great traction in all surfaces. zipper helps keep the laces tied.
tends to get a little heavy compared to soccer shoes, but overall, a great shoe for paintball.

Dye has always had great customer service, which is why I bought these initially. After using them for years, they held together well, but based on todays technologies for shoes I would recommend going with a different pair of athletic cleats because of the weight savings.

I loved playing with my ATC's. They are great for speedball and indoor ball, but not the best for woods. They give great traction on the turf, however, they can be troublesome if you are playing woods and there are steep hills or a lot of brush. However, they are great for tournaments where you need speed and traction.
