Best guy I have ever owned. I've always had bad luck with markers breaking down, I bought the Viking among hearing the rumor of how the don't require maintenance and don't break down. I bought one and the only thing that happened to it was I pulled a wire on the board to hard and broke the wire. I bought a new wire and it's been smooth sailing ever since.

AKALMP Viking Currently own an 03 viking, salvaged it from a field's parts bin. Vikings shoot very nice. They work no excuses. Require only a few drops of AKA lube before play.

Appearance:

Tri-tube design then again there is the evil-m with a modern 2 tube design. Very beautiful guns once milled and anno'd.

Performance:

Very efficient and very customization to fit all of your performances needs. Once set up properly, it will rip as fast as your handle fingers can handle.

Reliability:

I don't know of any gun out there besides a tippman that you can store for 5 years then throw AKA gun oil in the asa and it just works. Then again thats all the maintenance you need to do besides wiping it down...doesn't get any better than that.

Value:

Again, if you paid $1500 back in 2004 and you will still find yourself paying $1000 or more for a beautifully well built, milled, anno'd and tuned machine. The re-sell value does not die with these, it may slow down like the economy but you won't find me selling these less for 1k sorry (I won't sell them ever anyway).

Conclusion:

I would invest in picking these guns up just for the sake of re-sale value in the long run and of course the added benefit of its legendary performance for a design that's proven itself over a decade. I don't know too many guns that have these unique characteristics and qualities all in one package, but this one is a proven work horse.

AKALMP Viking Bought an AKA Viking after shooting and owning many SP guns. Although the Viking has a large body and weighs a lot compared to more modern high-ends, it's extremely consistent, efficient and reliable

While looking at the reviews my mind immediately went back to my AKA Viking, and how it's probably the best Electronic (Mech would be AGD) marker I remember owning.

I shot a "Dark Viking" for about 2yrs when I played back in the day with our local team "Falcons Fury".

It was quick, didn't chop paint, fairly efficient, but the thing I loved most about it was coupled with all of that it was a brick. I loved it. I felt like I had a sturdy beast of a marker in my hand, and that felt great.
