Pros: adjustable trigger, upgrades
Cons: pull back pin inaccurate
I bought this gun and was very pleased with it.
1. This gun for the most part is reliable. I my screw that holds my pull back pin stripped and the bolt suddenly fell out. No problem sence.
2. This gun is a great starter with great upgrades. I can easly shoot 30bps just by the adjustment of the trigger. There is also a few mods that help this gun out.
3. This gun diffently needs a barrel, on off asa, and a feedneck before you start. The rest of the upgrades are just added bonuses.

I give it an 8 out of 10

Kingman Group Spyder Pilot ACS good begginers gun for the price. no balls chop but after every 20 shots the bolt comes uncocked! if you're going to buy all the upgrades you should buy an ion because it's about the same price

The spyder pilot is a great beginer gun however it needs quiet a few upgrades before it will perform well.

Pros:
-fast, the stock board is decent
-duable, if you treat it right it will last
-cheap, it is a great deal at $130
-acs bolt, works well once broken in
-trigger, works well

Cons:
-many stock parts need to be replaced: grips, feedneck, barrel, drop, asa,
-no eyes
-air/gas hog

Botom line is that it will make a great beginer marke having said that, with what the price of the maker and all the up's is you should just get a better gun like the proto slg or a PMR

Pros: ACS works well, good to go farther in the sport
Cons: little problems here and there
I use spyder products when ever i paintball. They are reliable guns and hardly ever break. My first gun was Sypder Victor 2 (worked great). Then I wanted to go a bit farther, and become a bit more competitive in the sport, thus picked up the Spyder Pilot. I have had a few problems with air leaking but nothing too drastic. So my advice for young ballers (with a low budget) is to pick up the Spyder Pilot. It will help get you shooting faster and becoming more competitive in paintball. Great gun for the price it is at.

Pros: Cheap, ACS bolt
Cons: Low-end marker, badish when stock,
i have had a spider ACS pilot for a little more than 2 years now and when i first got it i though it was a ok gun from what i was shotting, but as i used it about a few months later the peice of the bolt that cocks the bolt into possition broke off and i have never fixed it, great gun if it does not break but to use good try to have a decent hopper that is NOT gravity feed

was my main gun for almost a year, always had a problem with the top cocking pin popping out & getting lost on the field! other than that i loved the nice LOUD sound from firring only because alot of people were intimitated by the noise. i changed out for a clampiing feedneck, low pressure kit w/reg, shoots great with all the mods and a freak kit, but also shoot good stock. this was the first gun to get me into electro's so i would reccomend it to a newbie stepping up from an entry level mechanical gun

Pros: Great Gun
Cons: None
I just bought this gun a few months ago. I've been paintballing a few times with it and never had any trouble with it. I would highly recommend this gun for a starter gun. However I did upgrade to this from a ViewLoader, So I haven't had much experience with like an ION or a Bob Long.

But Like I said I love the gun and I will probably stay with it for a while.

Well, there is not much room for all the pros and cons so here they are off the top of my head.

PROS:
- Anti-chop bolt. It really works, is self-lubricating, and durable!
- Simple maintenance. As a poppet, it is a simple design and is just easy to figure out.
- Trigger. Highly configurable, and is great for any situation. Suits the needs and preferences of any player.
- Great beginner gun. Not too fast, not too slow, simple as all hell, reliable and cheap!
- Looks. The frame is not all too unique but I personally love the matte red anno.

CONS:
- Spyder. I know, pretty broad con but they are generally frowned upon by more experienced players.
- Needs alot of breaking in. I had to play a few games to get the gun to work as advertised. I recommend working the spring in the anti-chop bolt alot before you use it. Read the Kingman forum for details or PM me.
- No reg. Get the occasional fart or first-shot dropoff because the expansion chamber is designed more for CO2. Does not necassarily <3 HPA. At least mine doesnt .
- Metric components. Most, if not all of the screws and such on the marker are metric. Not a real con, just something to consider when you are looking for the right tool.
- Front block setup. The reg just sort of "plugs" in to the front block, so if you want to get a compressed air setup, you will need to get a new front block with threads for a typical regulator.

While there are more cons than pros, I think the pros outweigh the cons. If you are looking for a gift for someone, or are just starting up yourself, the price is just impossible to resist today!

PM me with questions, I know this thing part-for-part now .
