New, out-of-the-box these markers probably could hold their own against a Spyder MR-1, or a Tippmann 98, or any other mechanical semi-auto marker. Used, w/ spring issues, and a leak in the tombstone - No chance. The only positive this marker has going for it is that it accepts Spyder-threaded barrels and Tippmann A-5 stocks and body-accessories (for the most part). Don't try putting a Cyclone on one of these though - that's an exercise in futility. I know, I tried. Getting the e-grip for this marker was also a mistake - unless you're running HPA, have excellent paint, no internal leaks/spring troubles, and have a very fresh battery, it too is an exercise in frustration. Frustration and futility shouldn't be the hallmarks of your flagship product, PCS. It's no wonder you're no longer around!

PCS US-5this was my first paintball gun, spent $100 for electric hopper and e-trigger, I would recommend any beginner to jump on this. But unfortunately they are out of business. These are definitely better...
this was my first paintball gun, spent $100 for electric hopper and e-trigger, I would recommend any beginner to jump on this. But unfortunately they are out of business. These are definitely better then Tippmanns, and yet cheaper. only cons is limited availability for upgrades. But if you just want to see if you'll enjoy the game, then pick this up.
