I bought this semi-new from a pawnshop(box, all parts, manual), it was my first PB gun, though I don't like to admit it. I only shot 25rds through it before it broke, fixed it, shot about the same number again and the feedneck cracked for some reason. After I taped it, the trigger broke, and I just got fed up with trying to put it back together again. So I took it back, yelled, and was given my claimed first gun: an F4 Illustrator. I caution anyone buying this for their kid/friend/parent, don't there are better choices out there.

Having had one for a while just to mess around with (and one to fix, which - for some reason I had an issue getting it to re-cock after having replaced all the orings, after hardly having been used) - this is an accurate review. I have also had many friends having had similar encounters with this marker.
Pros:
Cheap
Semi-Auto
Cons:
Cheaply made
More complicated to take apart than other brands (ex. Spyder)
Harsh on paint, though for the price and brand it's expected
This marker shoots paintballs, sometimes....it breaks easily and is so cheaply made it's not even funny.
Honestly, for the price, buy a Spyder instead - they are more reliable, easier to maintain, and shoot better.
This marker gets a 1/5 rating from me.

I still have nightmares about my old Marauder. I got it when I was like 12 and thought it would be a cool upgrade from my BE pump. Turned out to be a total piece of **** and waste of time. This gun ruined paintball for me for a while. It never worked and when it did it would chop paint and cough up giant chunks of CO2, and the gun would start burping randomly.

This was the first marker I have ever owned, and that got me started into paintball. And honestly, I can't really think of anything good to really say about it. Ball broke so easily, and the shoots that didn't break pretty much took a sharp turn to the left/right. I'd say pass on this and go with a spyder.

This gun should be pulled from the shelves of Walmart. The only good thing about this gun is that you can pull the trigger and a paintball will come out the barrel. You don't know where it will go other than away from you most the time. Don't buy this gun even for someone just starting out.
