Pros: Feels good, shoots pretty nice out of the box
Cons: screws strip easily, come loose, stock barrel
Got this gun off a team mate of mine just to try it out for a little while and it shot pretty well. The trigger is not my favorite thing straight out of the box but that was to be expected, with some tweaks it can be pretty decent and worse comes to worse your out 20 bucks on a aftermarket trig. the barrel obviously has to go, I still fully dont understand why companies just dont give youa quality barrel out of the box yet all the time. As far as efficiency and accuracy it was really good my only complaint with this thing that i've heard form pretty much every one is that the screws strip way too easily especially the ones holding the asa onto the body, i had to tighten them at least 3 times in a days worth of practice

The Axe is a great marker for any player. The improved designed from the previous marker, Invert Mini, really showed that Empire put forth some ideas that would benefit the players. The only flaw I found with the marker was you had to constantly lube the bolt before each day of play, but what do you expect for a high-end marker.

1. My first impression of the Empire Axe:GOOD...Looks cool, light weight, easy to use. BAD... No oled board...thats it for the bad.
2.Sleek trigger, easy to chrono, easy to air up.
3.Overall: Ive had to marker for about 5 months dosent eat batteries, sometimes it dosent bleed out all the air so you have to turn the eyes off and shoot it one and the air bursts out of barell and asa.
I had just had bought the empire redline oled board and installed it and the gun started acting funny so my local shop sent it back to the manufacture and i am still waiting of it to come in.
4.Rating...9.5/10 because there was no oled sereen and there was no piece barell.

Cons: None come to mind right now
Great gun, was my second speedball gun, after my mini. I was really impressed with its performance right out of the box, liked the way it feels in my hands. Some people say it's too small, but it feels just right for me, and it's about the same size as my G6R, some may not like it if they have really big hands, but not too big a deal. Great on air, first game I played with it, I got 6 pods of a 68/4500 fill, also very smooth and consistent. Overall great product, won't disappoint anybody lucky enough to own one.

Pros: CHEAP, probably the best gun for the money
Cons: Looks ugly, IMO.
I got an Axe a while back, and had the chance to use it for while. To be honest, I didn't want to like it. I just never like the Axe, for no good reason.

To start off, the Axe is one of the most incredible paintball markers. To include everything that they did, for the price that they sell it is simply incredible. It shoots very smooth, especially for something you can pick up for $200 nowadays. It's definitely reliable, there's not too many things to mess up on it.

My only complaint is the ergonomics and the looks. I HATE the big ol' front grip with the board in it, and HATE the big ol' regulator/ASA. I understand why those pieces are the way they are, but I just can't stand them.

Really the looks are the only complaint someone could possible have about the Axe, and it's the perfect gun for the price.

Cons: Feedneck is sh*t, asa
First off, THIS IS NOT A MINI WITH AN EXTENDED GRIP.
I bought this thinking i would try it out, and ive shot almost every gun there is, and ive gotta tell you, this gun is pretty nice for the price. I had it tuned to the point where it was almost as smooth as a g6r. Im a big fan of the push pin bolt removal, and also like the foregrip.

However, there are a few downsides.
You need to mess with this gun a LOT. First day i took it out, the asa was coming loose to the point where it was leaking. Not very good for right out of the box. The feedneck is terrible. Flat out terrible. I would take out my rotorfor whatever reason, try to put it back in an hour later and i have to readjust it with a tool. it will even loosen up after playing. But those are the only two major downsides to this.

Would i recommend this gun?
Meh. For 450 its still a very good buy, but save up a little and get a vice for 500.
