Pros: Consistent, Accurate, Inexpensive
Cons: Weak finish
I used this gun for about 7 months, and honestly loved every minute of it. Stock, it ran smooth and never gave me a single issue. I don't recall breaking a single ball in the two months or so that it was stock. It wasn't until after I 'upgraded' it that it started having some issues, but thats besides the point.

The gun itself is fantastic. It is a perfect size and fits great in my hands. The foregrip is nice and thick, offering plenty of room to place your palm without worrying about blocking any part of the trigger frame. The gas-through grip is a very cool feature, and one that I was not familiar with, having been out of paintball for about 8 years (when I stopped, WDP had just released the Angel Fly). There is very minimal kick from this gun, even firing at 15bps ramping, which is very welcome.

Maintenance could not be any easier, its reminiscent of an old Automag. Press in the bolt pin, twist the bolt assembly out, and you're done.

My only gripe is that the finish (mine was the dust black) is easily scratched with minimal contact, but if thats the only downside, I'll take it any day.

All in all, you really cannot do better than the Axe at this price point. It is a damn solid gun, at a very reasonable price. It is consistent, reliable, and bulletproof.

Pros: shoots great against anything on the field
Cons: board programming is a pain
Ive had the axe since it first came out and its worked great. Especially with a aftermarket bolt it is fast, efficient, and quiet...exactly what anyone wants. The only fault with the marker would be that the board programming is a tad difficult for some people.

Also, some people do not like the stock feedneck but honestly its great for a stock feedneck...the nano or any ion threaded feedneck works great.

Pros: Quitter than my Geo and amazing trigger!!
Cons: A bit heavier in the hands
This gun is great!! its a bit heavier in the hands compared to my Geo and the stock board is not great.

Upgraded to the redline fore grip and I LOVE this marker even more!!

I would definitely recommend this marker to anyone that would want a mid/high end marker at a mediocre price!

Did I mention the stock trigger on this thing is AMAZING??!

I have used my axe just a few times but I am truly impressed about what you get in such a small package. Mine came with the TechT bolt installed from the previous owner (may not of known).

It shoots super smooth, is easy on paint and shoots straight and fast. I truly enjoy the marker in general, its great to have a gun that just works when you need it to.

I have owned about every high end gun out on the market today and I now shoot an empire axe. The axe is very comfortable in the hands, but is a bit heavy. My axe has the nano feedneck, redline board, v2 bolt bolt with spring kit and shoots absolutely amazing.

Empire Axe Got this gun a few months ago and love it. For the price, I think it is definitely worth the buy. I replaced the stock barrel and it shoots great. Very light, accurate, and air efficient.

The Axe is hands down the best shooting sub-$500 marker I have ever had the pleasure of using.

While the tool less bolt removal is amazing, I wish I could get a break once in a while to actually use the thing. I've gone through probably 20 cases with the Axe and have yet to break a ball using RPS Marbs.

Pros: smooth shot, light, good trigger
Cons: stock feedneck
I really liked this gun because of the ergonomics. When the gun is in your hands, and when you put the tank to your shoulder it feels like it was meant to be there. The streached out foregrip makes snapsooting easier, and more comfortable..Asset from that after you put some cases through the marker it becomes more broke-in and has a nice smooth shot, the sound sig of the axe is very quiet for a poppit, and when walkin the trigger you are able to get off on it because of the way its shaped...the main thing i didnt like is the stock feedneck, the lever gets loose when you dont have a loader in it, but this dosent affect the performance.
