I have had my Empire Axe LE PDD for about a month and I love it. I bought it used for $445 with a lurker bolt which i think is a great deal for this amazing gun. It's the best of both worlds especially in reliability and performance. This gun is the best for the price compared to an etek.

besides that this marker is flawless in design, maintenance is a breeze and I love it.

I lent my luxe out for a game to take a friend's axe to play. I could not believe how well the thing shot. Granted it was shooting a little light so that would decrease kick a lot, it was still a very well shooting marker for the price range. If you are trying to decide between an axe and a luxe and can get the axe a lot cheaper than the luxe, go for the axe.. the smoothness between the two are very similiar and price for quality in comparison, you can't beat it.

Cons: Entry level barrel
I've had my Axe two years now and it's never let me down. I've played countless tournaments and practices with this marker and it's reliability has surpassed my expectations. For the price, it shoots very similiar to 'high-end' markers while being efficient and quiet.

With a Boss bolt and boomstick, this marker really can't be beat dollar to dollar. I list the stock barrel as a negative only because it's bore is quite large. The 12" barrel didn't bother me and I even went on to get a tighter fitting 12" initially. Now I use a CF Boomstick because it's a tighter fit which raises my FPS for the same operating pressure and makes the marker even quieter.

After 100+ cases through my Axe I am very satisfied!
