Pros: Shoots butter
Cons: Grip is a little big
Having a stock Axe is alright, but there is definitely a couple of things you can do to make it shoot ropes of butter. Changing out the stock bolt to a V2 Boss/ Infamous bolt will greatly increase the air efficiency and will give you less to no kick/ recoil at all. Stock barrel is a definite NO. Get a longer barrel for sure. Nano feedneck is optional. I don't use it as I'm a back player. And if your into real serious tournament ball, theres always the option to upgrade your board. For me, I'm running on Shockwave....

Pros: Great gun, solid barrel
Cons: Reg comes loose
I bought the Axe Pro via the field that sponsors my team at a great deal and it has been flawless for me. Comes with the freak kit, and put it on PSP mode and havent touched anything else. I did put in a Boss Bolt and spring so that did lower the operating pressure and also make the sound signature lower. Its a consistant gun that is easy to clean. Only real con to me is the reg comes loose and you have to open the handle and tighten the screws again. Other then that highly recommended gun!!!

Just got the Empire Axe recently and I love it. it shoots amazing and is very reliable. I would recommend getting a new feed neck the stock feed neck is not that good. I also recommend, if you have the money for it, the redline board. makes the gun a lot better and its simple to use.

Cons: a bit heavy, changing battery resets the board
shot it all day yesterday at MAPL/GPL event one, me myself probably shot atleast 5-6 cases through this thing, one game shot everything on my back ( 8 pods) and had alittle bit in my hopper at the end of the game, i looked at the tank, and i had about a 1000 psi left. i was using a 70/4500 pe. this thing shot great all day and never skipped a beat.

deff a great marker.

if xsv and infamous are rocking these things a kicking booty, why cant you?

planet eclipse is still my fav though

Axe very popular gun and for good reason, can pick them up used fairly cheap and they shoot great for the money. I had one with upgraded bolt and oled board and it shot great, was very smooth shooter better than some other "higher end guns" I have owned in the past. Downside a lot of people own them so the resale is low if you decide to sell

Pros: Great value
Cons: Barrel
Just picked one up for my son and its been shooting great. He's been using my guns off and on it was time for his own, and this is a perfect gun so he doesn't feel outclassed by the high ends. The axe keeps up just fine and the only upgrade will be a barrel. It was left out in a heavy downpour of rain and we just let it dry out over a couple of days before turning it back on and it is still running perfectly.

I have had my Empire Axe LE PDD for about a month and I love it. I bought it used for $445 with a lurker bolt which i think is a great deal for this amazing gun. It's the best of both worlds especially in reliability and performance. This gun is the best for the price compared to an etek.

This is the all around gun for newer and more experienced players. The only problem that I know of/seen was when my teammate took a bad dive and the feedneck snap right off. Other than that i would pick another one up no questions asked!
