I really do like the Axe. I'd say best gun under $600 no doubt and can keep up with the best. Its a nice size gun and is very smooth and accurate. The only bad thing is the barrel. For $460 new they should include a 14 inch barrel. Thats why value gets a 4 star.

just bought one of these after i decided that i really liked my mini enough to get a newer one.

i have to say because of the bigger bolt, stock vs stock, the axe has more kick than the mini. but also seems to be a bit more accurate as well.

good gun for the price. i would take this in a second when i was going to a tournament.

I have owned over 40 guns since 2009 including macdev droids ego 7-9 a luxe and a handful of shockers. The axe is personally my favorite marker I have used and is the first gun I have ever owned new and been the only owner of. I beat the hell out of mine and it still shoots amazingly I have told many people to buy one and have let them use mine, many of them have bought there own...I only wish the stock board was a little simpler and saved user settings when changing the battery

The Empire Axe is a great gun. The price is significantly lower than that of most high end electro's on the market, but the performance is on par with them in almost every way.

The Axe is easy to tune to maximize efficiency or softness. Will it ever be the most efficient gun on the field- no. But there are plenty of options for you to maximize its performance. Several companies make aftermarket accessories (boards, bolts, eyes, etc.) that allow you to further customize your gun.

Another great stock feature of the Axe is the Relay ASA. A simple lever turns your air on and off. It also has a convenient pressure gauge.

The looks of the Axe are average - nothing special, nothing terrible. It feels good in the hands, which is all personal preference. It comes in a variety of colors, and parts can be switched with other axes to create even more color combos.

For the price, the Empire Axe can't be beat. Out of the box, it's a great gun, and with some extra money spent on aftermarket accessories, it is right up there with the other super guns on the market. If you don't believe me, just take a look at the winners of the 2012 NPPL Huntington Beach tournament - they were using Axes
